    Before you enter the room with the magic golems inside... there are some weapon racks on the side... perhaps there are weapons there that you could use?

    BTW, frankly I find magic golems disappointing. I mean, Stone, Flesh, Clay... man, the first time I saw them I was impressed. But with the magic golem, i was like, pfrt, a purple fire elemental :/
    Anyone share the same feeling?

    These Magic Golems don't look impressive. And when you killed them, you realize that they just look good. Good in a way like 'appropriate'. They actually fled! I thought these creatures were made to fight?

    I wasn't too impressed first time I met them at WK! I was soloing a sorcerer.... Now try to hit the bastards..

    Oh yeah, I didn't pick Tenser's. I knew there eventually had to be a reason why I should have.

    [​IMG] I really hate the fact they put the clue in the game. That journal of Elminster, along with the rack of normal weaponry is like a 20 foot neon advertisement with bright red and yellow, for using normal weapons (no offense to the original poster) It completely spoiled the fun in discovering these magical golems for me.

    I could've had hours of pointless battle with them, having to seek new options myself. It would've taken me a long time to think of normal weapons. That they give you a clue in rpg's is fine, but this one wasn't a clue to a problem, it's a direct solution.

    You got a point... but on the other hand, the boards here and everywhere concerning Baldurs Gate would be overwhelmed with questions like, HOW DO YOU KILL THOSE DAMNED MAGIC GOLEMS?!?!?!!?
