Where to download Baldur's Gate Trilogy?

    The FTP listed is generally pretty reliable, but crowded. Try it again in a few hours and you can probably get on it. Remember to log in with username and password bgt.

    I haven't tried it, but it seems the eDonkey P2P service is also being used for fairly reliable distribution. There are a couple of threads in the BGT forum about how to get started with it.

    If you have the patience, wait until Tuesday when the new distribution package is available. It makes for a faster download and easier installation.

    That's not right, I didn't know eDonkey charged :eek: That's the last time I suggest something I've never used. Sorry!

    Hang in there on the FTP. I needed to get a file yesterday; I just tried about once an hour and got in on the third try.

    You can also get it via mIRC, but the download speed is capped at 15k/s total over four users.

    All of the installs require a copy of BG somewhere on your hard drive. There's nothing fishy going on with BGT.

    You can use Emule (it is more or less a open source version of Edonkey) and it is free at http://www.emule-project.net/ . I will leave my server up and you can grab the main disto with this userhash.

    Just install emule and set it up to detect userhashs in the clipboard and you can pull it down off me and others.
