:help:I have a problem with the installation, When it is 85% of they way through it asks for a 5th disk. So am I missing it ? or is it a bug..... I know my computer is fine and Will work with it, and the game is brand new so that is not it. So can you think of anything ?

That problem used to happen to me, and, as I recall, it does that if you try to use more than one CD-ROM drive to install the game. You can only use one, or so how it goes with my computer..

    Hmm..yeah, that is weird.

Taken from this thread, Bioware gives the solution here.

You can always try, but that has its own installer, so I doubt it will do anything. None of the things Bioware suggested helped, eh? You can always try cleaning the drive and the CDs and see if that helps, and if it doesn't, I'm out of ideas, so you'll unfortunately have to wait for someone more experienced than I to come a long and help out. Sorry I couldn't be of assistance :(

The ToB installer probably won't even launch, and I wouldn't install even if it did.

Try this thread over on the Interplay boards. It's got a number of suggestions specifically for the 'Insert CD 5' problem.

Ugh, it seems like BG2 just doesn't like you. I think this is from the same thread that a soubriquet posted. Bioware has suggestions for the installer asking for CD1 when it's 95% finished even though CD1 is in the drive:

"Open your config.sys file (usually found on C:bad:) in notepad and look for a line that looks similar to, but not necessarily exactly like, "devicehigh=C:bad:cdrom\taisatap.sys /d:cd1". " Oh my gawd, where in the world is it ? I still can not find the config.sys file

Config.sys should be on your boot drive, not in any folders. Do a filesearch for config.sys if you have to.
