I have Jaheira memorize 2 Resist Fire/Cold and 2 Slow Poison spells, and beyond that, I have no idea what to take. The spells are pretty weak!

    What do your druids memorize?

When unmodded, my Avenger gets Barkskin and Charm Person or Mammal for most of his 2nd level spell slots. Nothing too great but Barkskin grants a nice bonus and the Charm spell can come in handy.

It's all about Barkskin, Slow Poison, and Flame Blade - sometimes a Charm spell or two.

Flame Blade. Sometimes, especially at the beginning of the game, this is an excellent way to kill trolls which were knocked down.

Isn't that the level with Find Traps, or is that level 3. That is the most useful spell in the game.

It doesn't really matter what you pick from them, but IMO slow poison, resist fire/cold, and barkskin (grants some bonus saves) are the best ones.

I don't very often bother with a druid but Barkskin is a handy spell to have.

Am I the only one here that uses Good Berry?

I usually don't bother with Resist Fire/Cold even when I know it will be handy. I just suck up the damage and heal afterwards.

I give barkskin to my paladin, but never tried it for a druid yet because I haven't used one as a tank before.

Can't remember if druids get spiritual hammer... but too bad Spiritual Hammer isn't as good as in some of the other games, otherwise I'd recommend it.

[IMG] Yep, as has been said, Barkskin and slow poison are all I usually take, and Barkskin's usually all I use.

What's the point of Good Berry? It's basically a very low level healing spell and by the time you hit TOB healing a few HPs here and there amounts of nothing.

The point is the berries taste good.
+ they must be sick of constantly gulping down some suspicious liquids, never knowing if it really is a potion of healing. Berries are sure to be heathly too, with lots of vitamines and such :)

barkskin and flameblade are probably the best spells on that level.

as for those berries, well there pretty useless, there are many far better healing spells and potions out there.
