    [IMG] Heyla, ppl! I'm new and I have a question for the people who have already beaten or are playing Throne of Bhaal. Umm... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to put spoiler space or something so I'll just do so.

    Okay, I'm too lazy to surf around the whole day so I'm what I wanna know is how you change Sarevok's alignment in ToB. I have one PC that didn't get even one conversation out of Sarevok during the whole time I was playing the game! Is it a bug or something? Any tips on how to initiate that part of the story arc?

    Do NOT make him swear allegiance to you.
    Then just treat him nice and be a good role-model.

    This is what I've heard.

    Here they are.
    • Evil Ending of Sarevok:
      Alignment stays to Chaotic Evil:
    Upon parting ways with <CHARNAME>, the reborn Sarevok proved as good as his word. He returned to the lands he once knew, far more powerful now than he was even before. Old enemies were startled by his visits, but never for long, and it was not even months later that Sarevok would start a reign of terror in Baldur's Gate that would place him completely in charge of the city. Resistance was crushed as Sarevok began raising an army for conquest in his own name. If he could not have the divine power of his father, he would have enough earthly power to satiate his appetite. Sarevok partook of women as he pleased as his name became a bitter epithet on the tongue of every citizen of the Sword Coast.The first victims of his terrible army fell easily, and Sarevok's power grew. The warrior was maddened, however, to find that the victories gave him no thrill. The power tasted as ashes, though Sarevok tried many times to drive himself into a frenzy of delight at his achievements. In the end, his throne grew heavy, and it was with dread acceptance that he greeted the arrival of the inevitable heroes to displace him not a year after his return. Sarevok fled into the night, abandoning Baldur's Gate and his dreams of power both. He became a man haunted by his second chance, hunted by a former life that never was and a possible life that never could be. Without a destiny and or a true soul of his own, he wandered the Realms...sometimes he brought terror and sometimes he brought nothing but his tired heart, and before long he was gone forever. Some say that he found his purpose in the great desert, forging a kingdom to last an age. Some say he traveled to the planes, launching a campaign against the great Mount Celestia. The truth is unknown, though the tales still persist.
    • And Good:
      Alignment changes to Chaotic Good [edit]sorry my mistake[/edit]:
    In the years following his resurrection by <CHARNAME>, Sarevok spent many years wandering throughout the Forgotten Realms, rarely spending much time in any single place. In Berdusk he is said to have routed an army of invading orcs, displaying such fearsome power and rage that terrified locals weren't sure whom to fear more...only to disappear quietly without expecting a reward. In Westgate he arrived as conqueror, brutally enforcing his will over the city only to mysteriously vanish months later, leaving his own startled men to the mercies of the angry mobs. He acted like a man that did not know himself, and all the stories agreed that Sarevok was a tortured soul, balanced between life and death, never to achieve either. Those who knew Sarevok best, which were few, said that the tormented warrior would in turn curse the fabled <CHARNAME> for giving him his second chance...and then thank <PRO_HIMHER>. Eventually he disappeared entirely from the Realms, said to have assaulted the Abyss itself or even taken his own life. In truth, he journeyed to Kara-Tur to bury his one true love, the warrior Tamoko. He never returned, though the stories endure.

    Elan, there may be a glitch somewhere. What you have listed as the "good" ending is the one I always get with Sarevok. I've never successfully converted him, so he stays chaotic evil. Get your ending listed as chaotic good.

    @Rastor:
    I am giving what I've read and know Rastor...

    @Kirax:
    Nope Kirax, there is option except marrying Viconia to convert her to Chaotic Good Alignment... Yes, all know what is the ending if not changing and marrying her, but if you succeed change her into Chaotic Good, she saves the life of an Elven Queen, and she's very good, because our hero became good god and he was good towards her, despite she is Drow...

    [IMG] How exactly do you put a spoiler? I tried leaving a spoiler space and it just cut out all the blanks.... maybe I should type something in the blank space or something. Anyway, thanks for your replies, guys....

    I tried converting Sarevok (despite my char being Lawful Evil, :) ). I had to ask him to wait because the NPC I wanted to kick out had some stuff I wanna keep. I took him into my party, and he hasn't opened his mouth except to <<Spoiler>> make that 'gouge-your-eyes-out' comment to Anomen. I'm already killing Baltazar!! Is it a bug or something?

    Another question... are there any requirements to start the Viconia romance? Or are you only allowed to have one romance going on? So far I've only played sorceror and mages, and as a female. So now I don't really know if what's happening's supposed to happen.

    Better something more fighteresque like Paladin, Fighter or Cleric or Dualled... And you HAVE to be Human or Half-Elf, because she despises the Elves I think...

    [edit]I got it!

    I got it from one walkthrough, so I am perephrazing it to you:
    SPOILERS
    When you have sex with Viconia and soon she offers to sleep with you again, refuse because the "time isn't right". After that when she asks what you think of her, be very very nice. After she asks you what it's like having the blood of Bhaal in your veins, tell her that you don't like the killing. Between meeting her wraith-brother and the destruction of Saradush, you need to have at least ONE romance talk occur. If you skip this, you can't get her to switch alignments.
    When she sees the battle, tell her that you don't like it. Then when she asks if you want her to change, say yes. So this is how you can change her alignment for good in Chaotic Good... You MUST had sex with her, before changing her alignment...

    [IMG] If you have Cheat Keys enabled you can get Sarevok good by doing Ctrl + I until you get the last dialogues. then it weighs up good an evil and the overall outcome is decided.

    I'll dig out some dialogues if anyone is interested.
