About importing voices from BG Original Saga

    I recently got Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, installed the sucker, and imported my character over from BG1. I was wondering if I could use the Male Voice 1 from BG1 instead of the usual stuff in SoA. It just sounds better than any of the others.

    What I figured on doing was getting all the Male voice 1 sets from the sounds folder of BG1 and just duping them in the BG2 sound folder. Thing is, I'm wondering if this will cause some unholy conflict. My suspicion, as thin as it is, is based on the fact that the BG1 sound files will play when I double click on them, whereas the BG2 will just give me an error message. Seeing as how both sounds are .wav files, I'm a bit confused.

    Well, hopefully someone can clear this out for me. Thanks in advance.

    Yeah, you can. But you got change the files names.
    There is already a BGII voice named "male1", so just alter the name of BGI voices and then throw them into the sounds folder.
