[IMG] Now I read it from a CHEESE GUIDE here on SP, aded something of mine and wanted to share with you! This is just too evil for me!

Put three PROJECT IMAGES in CG, set it to MYSELF and when HELPLESS! Then cast ProjectImage yourself, your image will hop, and now you are HELPLESS the contingency kicks in and you have three more Project Images, a total of 4! WOW!

This is now my very own strategy afterwards, each cast timestop with 1 second delay!(This is important, if they all cast TS SAME TIME three are wasted!) What happens, TS comes, the usual ImprovedAlacrity+Removing DefensesLowering Resistances if needed+SimpleButchering combo, if you had more TS cast it in first Ts too! Now TS ends, after a second the second Image's TS hits. Repeat the same, it ends, the third one's TS comes, third official TS ends and the fourth comes, do it all again, and finally it all ends. BY NOW every enemy in the screen will meet a TERRIBLE and QUICK end!!! This is ALL in 1round of real time Imagine what my dual cleric mage can do, 4 horrid wiltings,(80d8) 4flame arrows or skulltraps(80d6)plus 3 HolySmites(14d4 each,x3) blast a few cone of colds and sunfirs,(soo much damage as a bonus) ChainLightnings(partfriendly) and then MULTIPLY THIS ALL WITH 4!!! The damage is sooo sickening and evil! And I haven't even spent my own spells! YAY!

So what do you think? Is it evil or what? I tried this in Improved Irenicus and killed the poor Dragon, Orb and Sword before they had a chance to move! (I had casted a lot of Farsights in the area since Images can not see FogofWar) Now I am not afraid of JonBon! Though I do respect (OR the correct word was 'pity'? Forgive my poor English it is not my first language)him! Poor JonBOn! :D

Do you know in what HARD battles can it be used?
And if this can be considered cheating or not? (DEFINITELY NOT! :D )

Maybe a wee cheesy  , but in now way cheating.

Well, it can be used in almost every hard battle the game, and tactics, has to offer.

Cheesy, since it bypasses the designed limitation of Project Image. Good trick, although you hardly need to resort to it when you can simply cast some summons, let the monsters whack them, and hammer away freely while they do so. ;)

It's so beautifully perfect that it nearly made me cry. I must try that this evening.

^OH it is a problem, try turning spell efects off, it will help, (one my friends computer is low system too so he plays with nearly all effects off, yet he still haves fun) though you will have the problem of not understanding who is casting what?

    @Wirhe

I do not think there is a designed limitation for ProjectImage like you can have only 1, you COULD have only 1, it was because we tought there was NO way to cast multiple PIs at once, but by this method it is possible. And quite awesome to watch, when ALL TS finish and THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS damage bombard your enemies! Poor things!

BTW:It is actually quite hard and tiring to select and cast SOO many spells and continously pausing the game when browsing spells to save precious time. But it is well worth the horrific and devastating destruction you dispense in a single round of apparent time!

ANYWAY, I am happy you appreciate it. I always tought Project Image to be a decent spell, now I think it is rather...WONDERFUL! :)

Maybe I should start making enemies use this in new versions of my various "Improved" mods... :) .

OH no no no I did not intend giving mod makers most evil ideas! This is just for player mages who want something...powerful. This is REALLY useful for solo mages methinks.

BTW how can you put this into a script it looks pretty complex. BUT clever players will attack and hurt the ORIGINAL caster and thus ruin all images together! :D

This, if you protect the original caster with cheesy things, like Improved Invisibility and SI:Divination and all other 'usual' buffs...It will be IMPOSSIBLE to defeat! NO! Another challenge! :)

Try it on the eclipse party in the Solaufein Mod. They are very tough.

^I heard Eclipse Fight is pretty tough, I have Sola mod but I don't want to take him for some reason? He romances me!!! LoL! Plus one must romance him to certain point for that fight? I do not know. (Though I must admit the start of his romance was rather innocent. He talks about hardships of underdark, evil drows and his good drow god etc.. and then we become lovers? Nice!)

I read that Teleport Field spell was useful to delay opponents in that battle. That and this strategy can work wonders? Nobody tests this out?

@Silverstar: have you ever played a wild mage? Nahal's Reckless Dweomer would allow you to be even more creative! :)

    Meh...old school.

I do that all the time when soloing an all time favourite cleric/mage myself when I'm fighting the final guardians before Demogorgon, and when fighting the Big D himself. :D

Of course, instead of bothering with damage spells, I summon 24 Planetars and let them go to work.

[IMG] Silverstar, that is some sick, sweet cheese. Lots of prep to make it happen, but sick and sweet regardless. I'm proud.

Hmmm.... Can you do something similar with a Simulacrum? I mean having your Simulacrum cast CG on itself and get the same results?

This is an outright cheat, but I haven't read this anywhere, so as far as I know I made the original discovery.

Using the CTRL+R cheat on your Mislead clones allows them to do spell casting, attack, use items, etc...just as you normally would.

That's right...its a free clone, at FULL power...pretty good for a lvl 6 spell. Of course, its plain old cheating.
