[IMG] Sniff....... AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhh, it's good to be back here after 1 year missing.... I have visited this board now and then though... but my old login name (DaPunisher) doesn't work anymore... :(

Anyway... a question, I've just finished BG2 for the second time and I had ToB installed... now I just defeated Irenicus in hell (This isn't a spoiler on this board eh? well, after that you talk to Ellesime etc etc and then a little movie is showed... well, here I'm screwed... I can't watch movies, it has to do with my videocard, which is a little defect or something...

CAN I bypass this movie? Because I haven't played Watcher's keep yet (BTW are there any other things to be done after the game besides Watcher's keep?) It's not that big a problem, as I can leave Suldannesselar with a previous savegame, so I can still play WK, but I have to do the thing in the Nine Hells again etc etc... It's anoying... Anyway, I can turn every movie off, except the one at the end... (No, that's right, I've never seen a movie, not the beginning, not the ending, nor sleep, nor daylight etc etc... no movie ever... only the beginning and then I hit Esc. as fast and as hard as I can... :) )

    Thnx for your help guys...

And again, it's good to be back...

buy a new videocard. Gforce or something, they aren't that expensive.

A TNT2 is probably fast enough for BG. The game mainly depends on processing power.

    I strongly doubt a TNT2 makes the game crash, it's probably a TNT2/mainboard combination.
TNT2 was one of the first series cards which substracted a lot of power from the mainboard. Old mainboards can't handle that.

[IMG] My father told me it's probably the drivers. I have to install never drivers for the TNT2. My mainboard isn't that old yet, I believe 2 years. It's a Celeron 466.

What chipset does your mainboard have?
If it is the intel 440LX or 440ZX, then that is definately the problem, and upgrading it to the BX would clear it, not that it's cheap though
