Language Issue

    [​IMG] For some very odd reasons (you don't really want to know), I unfortunatly have a non-english version of SoA.

    Going through the series again this year (currently at the end of BG1), I thought of getting myself ToB.

    However, it's only avaible in English (at least where I live). Do you think that it would cause problems if I install the x-pack in English over a my SoA?

    Your version contains both a dialog.tlk and dialogf.tlk, whereas English versions don't have the feminine forms (dialogf.tlk).

    It would probably be all right, but you may encounter dialog bugs.

    I also have a non-english version. What I did was to delete the file "dialogf.tlk". This gave me all dialog in english. No bugs or misplaced lines found yet.
    I would try to delete the file before instaling ToB.

    I forgot that ToB overwrites that file.

    You shouldn't have to delete anything to get it to work in that case (but do it if it makes you feel safer.)
