[IMG] My friend have made me have doubts. Is he stupid, or am I? Can I use my exported character from Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast in Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn (and then also Throne of Bhaal)?

You can indeed - I have done so myself, and I'm sure plenty people here have done the same. What's more, you also get to redistribute your proficiences if you chose badly the first time round, choose different spells if your a mage (and possibly a cleric/druid) too, redistribut theiving abilities and you get to choose a kit for your charcter unless he/she/it is a multi-class. If he/she/it is a dual class, you get the option of choosinf a kit for your first character, but not the second one.

Will there be a cool kit waiting for my paladin and/or cleric?

    [IMG] I haven't played BG2 yet, but I've heard that "hacked/cheated" characters/items don't import well.

Hold on, Molly --- I didn't say you cheated, It was just an FYI

It is not only possible, but it is easy. All you have to to is simply copy the character file from the BG file and place it in the BG2 file. Then when you want to use the character, import him/her into the game. The game will automatically go into the conversion program to change from BG1 to BG2, with all the options.

If you want your weapons and armor just start a multiplayer game and then create a general charater and once you have gone through the opening sequence inmport your charater into the game as you would like them.

Of course I want my armor and stuff. My paladin looks 1337 with the golden plate armor +3. Everything on him is gold :D
