    Great thanks :)

Great stuff this with choosing your party :) Yeah one more Q...

Lets say I want to try some other chars later on but they are pretty low level... Is there a place for me to lvl up them? Where enemies respawn and so... Or is it not possible?

    *edit*
Daaaaaamn, all my quests dissapeared from journal and I'm in chapter 3 now :(

Click the button to the left of the journal. Quests are stored Chapterwise. All your quests are still available there.
There really is no spawning place for leveling up your charecters. All the XP is equally divided, so the new guy will stay at a lower level. To try new charecters, start a new game

Only thing I can't think of is me playing evil char hehehe but who knows :)

    *edit*
arghhhh fool (me) dual class Yoshimo to fighter, so now he is Bounty Hunter 11 and fighter 4 and I've lost all of his Thief capabilities :/ I guess untill I hit lvl 11 with fighter too. Is it how it works or? I've probably dualed him too early or too late but I have tendency of doing wrong things :)

There are more riddles, but I don't remember any that will keep you from moving on in the gam. You might miss out on a cool item, but none of them are "showstoppers". Softening enemies with spells and missile weapons is a good tactic, but in BG2/ToB you'll find Melee is generally a more powerful combat option, and will be required for some opponents (in BG1, missiles really ruled). The only side effect of dropping an NPC is if you have a romance going with them, in which case you probably don't want to drop them.

So what is the verdict on dual-classing? Useful or not? As I understand you really have to know what you are doing. Someone told me that dualing Yoshimo was a great mistake, especially at that level. Basicaly by the time I get him to be thief again he will suck big time. So how do you know if a dualing is a good/bad idea? And how do you know when to do it?

Also I'm thinking of kicking evil dwarf (K something) out of party and taking Edwin in (that guy have quite a bit of spells) so will it work? I plan on a good party. No evil here :p Yeah and Minsc is in a party too.

Dualling is good if you know what you want. If you want to give your thief a fighting edge, give your mage some fighting abilities, et cetera, you might want to dual early.

But most dual-classed combinations are made from fighter to mage\thief\cleric\druid - these are more popular ones. And with fighter, it's always better to wait for level 13, for the main advantage of the fighter is the number of attacks, and he gets an extra on this level.

So, if you want a better character, dual and wait a little bit. (a couple of good quests out of town should to it). But if you want the best dual-classed character, prepare to wait till his abilities return, and it might take quite a long time.

Don't worry about having dualled Yoshimo at the wrong time -- it'll all even itself out eventually.

    Thanks fellows!
What about Edwin fellow? Will he fit in a good party? He and Minsc don't really like each other :)

Edwin will leave your party if your reputation reaches 18. The Lawful Evil Edwin cant stand being stuck with a bunch of do-gooders.

Edwin and Minsc will try to kill each other if you let them. Just keep them as far away from each other as possible.

    LOL Now that's neat :)
So I'll have to settle with Aerie than... Will there be some other mages later on? Hmmm perhaps Imoen, IIRC she was a mage also, right? Will have to kick that evil dwarf (Korgan I believe).

Also about the game, how much more is there besides this first city? Are there any other cities that I will visit later on? And are they quest filled like the first one ? :)

There are other cities, yes. But none are as quest filled as this one. You generally get all quests in Atkathla.

Korgan and Aerie are another of the games "Jerry Springer Couples", so you might want to invite one or the other to go save the world/rape and pillage with another party.

Yes! So, take Korgan and Mazzy instead. You'll enjoy that, if you get my drift... 8)

Most of the quests are in the main city, although there is still plenty of action in other places as well.

Wow - look at how many posts there have been in your thread. The people in SP are so helpful.

Protection from evil/fear, haste, chant, blur, mirror image. There's a nice sword out there with a MI once per day ability, you don't have to fight with the sword just use the ability. ;)
