    Actually, my favorite weapon is the battle axe. Looks impressive and is quite effective. There are also quite a few good ones in this game. It doesn't hurt that those throwing axes as the same proficiency, either. :)

    Favourite weapon hmm, I have a thing for short swords they look great on a char, especially in the off hand. And I dont feel like a munchkin as I wield them.

    I'd say that for me it's character dependent. Short swords at the moment for F/M/T, but there is something about big brutish two handers....

    Well those are all good wepons, but you're all forgetting one thing...Flail of the Ages +5!!! The 5 extra points of damage is very helpful against enimies that resistances to normal damage.

    well, the following one is the coolest, bar none, although it's not legit, only available by cheating :p

    Create a "killsw01" from the Console. It has the graphics and story for Long Sword +2: Varscona, but it's a +10 weapon and LOTS of other GREAT properties.
    if you tried to kill Aran Linvail while working for him, you would know it.:evil:

    Scimitars all the way. They look mighty cool, with the broad point instead of the pointy longswords.

    +10 is sickingly overpowered Thor'Horad. Even with the upgraded Carsomyr there's about nothing you can't hit, but +10... Geesh. :toofar: :nolike: :mommy:

    +10 isn't overpowered. All the other of the sword's abilities are. *ahem*
    -35 AC bonus
    Counts as a +10 weapon
    THAC0: +50
    Damage: 1d10+1000, +1500 fire, +1500 magic, +1500 cold, +1000 piercing, +1000 slashing, and an additional 1000 of undisclosed damage
    8 attacks per turn (if you get more proficiencies, you'll get a max of 10 attacks per turn)
    100% magic resistance
    Immunity to: charm, panic, sleep, slow, stun, fatigue, hold, confusion, feeblemindedness, web, and some others
    There are no race, class, or alignment restrictions on it, so everyone can use it.

    *That* is overpowered :p

    Yeah, its there as the weapon of the "you've totally ruined the storyline, game over" assassin. He shows up if you manage to make both Bodhi and Aran Linvail irrevocably hostile (thus preventing you from continuing to chapter 4). Oddly enough, given his weapon, he seems to win all those fights. :)
