After Having to format my computer, re-organize my partions, and fixing me old BG1 CD's(thanks to the gentle guidiance of Kitrax), I'm finally ready to begin this great adventure.

    Name: Yulp

    Gender: male

    Race: gnome
why: Because he looks funny with a spear :p

    Class: Kensai
Why: Mainly because he'd be pretty tough to play through BG1 with. I'm having grave difficulties as to which class I should choose, though.

    Alignment: True neutral
why: because of the party combination of good, evil and neutral chars.

    stats:

    S 12 (13)

    D 15 (Can't remember if there's a dex book in bg 1 too)

    C 15(16)

    W 10(11

    I 12(13)

    Ch 18(19)

1st roll when I hit the abilities screen. So, no re-rolls. placed all those points in Ch because that seemed to be the best place to put them, in order to avoid getting too much benefit from a high stat (besides cheaper prices in stores - mind that I can't have A 20 Rep).

    Skills:

    ** Spears
    ** Two-Handed weap fight
evenly divided skills among the two stats throughout bg1... In 2, we'll see

If you have forgot, then here it is again:

Here I'll be updating how it fares, for anyone who'd be interested in seeing whether this weak party has any chance at all (Especially in BGII).

I will be waiting with anticipation! If you can manage to beat the game, I am sure everybody will be really impressed! Your creativity and courage have already been proven though.

Care to add some screenshots from your game for us to have a look, if you know how to do it? (NOW I am really excited!)

    Thus Far

Well, I would lie if I said that everything has gone smooth, okay would be a more sooting word.
You now, when you play Bg1 with a normal party, and meet a pack of Gibberling, you think 'Oh no, it
is soo trivial to slay these weaklings'. With this party I tend to think 'Oh no! Gibberlings; run fer ye
    life mates!' :p

The mage, tarnesh(sp), at FAI went down rather easy (easier than I'd thought anyways). I didn't bother to take Jaheira and Khalid along, as they would only steal even more exp than Immy, Xzar and Monty already did (I'm going to keep Xzar and Monty least till I get Quayle).

Grabbed the Ring of Wizardry in the hollow tree at FAI, and the ring of protect in the area just below. Then I went to Beregost.

Immy suggested (tutu banter packs) that we go to Feldpost Inn, so I though 'what the heck. Why not?'. And went we did.

Seconds after the sequence of me entering the Feldpost, Monty began to pick on a poor townsman who'd lost his son.
We barely slew the man and his friend (Which didn't help our general reputation squat), and I, of course, had to reprimand Monty afterwards (he hates when I call him Monty), telling him to 'Pick his fights with a bit more care.

After a good night of sleep, we woke up, only to hear that a theft had happened! Our neighbor, Algernon, had gotten his favorite cloak stolen!
    Imoen had gone disappearing too.

People were still looking at us with suspicion after the dispute with the two locals last night, so I thought we'd better hit the road.
A town Crier told us that a maniac named Bassilus were killing people, only to raise them as zombies and skeletons. I suggested that we look into matters, and Xzar thought it was an excellent idea (for some reason he began calling it *his* idea).
Before we left, however, a young Bard named Garrick (Imoen fancy him for Helm knows which reasons) approached us.
His mistress, a mage named Silke, were being bullied by some Feldpost thugs. At first, we accepted to protect here, but when these "thugs" showed up, the truth was revealed: It was actually Silke Who'd bully these poor men. Som with some effort (A sh** load of re-loads,
since Silke kept killing Garrick with a Lightning), we slew her.
After that Garrick traveled with us.

So we finally went to meet this Bassilus. Turned out he was even more crazy than we'd first anticipated. With the help of Xzar I managed to make so mad, he lost control over the undeads, who immediately was destroyed.
I still can recall how it'd happen, but somehow I managed to slay
    him meself.
After that I went to the ocean to get some fresh air, but on the way I was assaulted by a knobogoblin named Zartak, or some such, and his goons.
Quickly I drank a potion of defense, and charged at him single handed. When we were sure that he would keep focus on me, the rest of the group charged (Garrick almost fell due to the weight of the heavy warhammer - beats me why he uses something his so un-proficient with)...
After he wnet down, I slowly proceeded toward his goons, who we'd kept out of sight (fog-of-war Garrick tol me it was called, weird.).
again, I approached them first, due to the -4 AC I'd got when I drank the potion.
Their Arrows did'na hurt me too much, and after a while the rest charged.

When we finally arrived at the ocean, some weirdo named Brage came talk to me. He had a riddle, I couldn't quite figure it out, (I have an Int of only 10), but Xzar told me that my answer were not of importance, so I just answered death (sooted the situation the best I though).
We agreed to escort Brage to the Temple of Helm in Nashkel (Under the protests of Monty), and got a decent reward.

Just outside of the Temple we met the Mayor Berun Ghastkill, who assigned us to clear the mines from a demon infestation.

So now we're heading toward the Nashkel mines. Onward!

@ Tal: I'll send some good SS's. I'm possitive that this party will generate some good ones!

    Thus Far
So this chick attacked me in Nashkell. Immy quickly charmed her with a purple cloak she'd bought in Beregost (So she says).
We made her waste all of her spells before we charged our self. Despite the efforts of the party, she almost killed poor Imoen.

After that little rendezvous we went to the mines (Some commoner's wife told us to look for her husband in the mines, we declined as we had better things to do).

We met an 'artist' named Prism not far from the mine entrance. I'd heard 'bout him in Nashkell, a big reward was placed on his head.
So I decided that we kill him and claim the bounty; but then Garrick began to cry, saying stuff like: We must let this man finish his beautiful creation, and so on...
I was tempted to kill Garrick instead of Prism, but where would we be without the 'Brave, brave' Sir Garrick?'
To shut his gap I decided to do as he begged me to.
Not much after accepting to protect Prism, Greywolf appeared! All I can say is That I was an utter and complete moron to listen idiot Garrick!
Everyone got killed Except I (Though only barely) and Branwen, who ran off in panic after being hit naught but a single time!

    *Sigh*

Well, I returned with the Emeralds in Nashkell (He had stolen those), and got my more than well-earned reward (which barely covered the cost of resurrecting 4 people!!!)
After that we finally left for the Mines themselves.

The owner was more than happy to let me search the mines...

OK, I do not know anything about BG, and had to avoid reading lots of your adventure not to spoil my game if I ever play it, but I must say Screenshots really speak! That one when your PC critical-hitted, chopped and killed the bad-guy Graywolf is really cool!

Keep up the good work, I am very excited to see what will happen when you get into the BG2 and Tactics mods (you will have Improved Ilych too right? GREAT FUN!)

Umm, how much time will it take for you to finish BG1 and ToSC? Not too long I hope, but please do not rush in the game, enjoy it as you probably will have the most strange and coolest party ever assembled! (if you live up to that, that is it. Still, don't be discouraged!)

Okay, might tone a bit down on the in-game facts, so I wont spoil anyones game.

Heh :heh: , the funniest part of that one is that If I hadn't drunk the pot of hill giant str, I probably wouldn't have made that critical hit, and if I hadn't made that critical hit (if had just made a regular hit or none at all), then Greywolf would 'ave killed me on his next attack (chopped through Monty's -1 AC on each hit, sure he'd chopped through my Kensais +7 AC as well :p ), and if that had happened, I would have been slaughtered.

Okay, I have to ask (concerning the first screenshot): Did you guys kill *everyone* walking around in Feldpost's? If so, what hit did your reputation take?

Nope. Only those two :p I got tutu banter packs, which, when Monty's in the party, makes him insult the dude, so he and his friend attacks.
It's scripted so noone else goes hostile, but I suffered a -4 rep for killing the Marl's friend, though none for killing Marl (as in normal bg).

@ Aih: I do my best to make it at the very least presentable :p

Mulahey, I am death come for thee!

See! It wasn't that hard, now was it, Monty?
    UAK!
Piece of cake? Pice of pie ;)

    *SPOILER ALERT*

    Thus far

When we arrived in the Mines. Imoen *unfortunately* died, we didn't have the money to resurrect her, and not the time for a proper burial either, so we just left her body for the Kobolds (Yeah, Kobolds! Stupid Miners told me it were Dmeons, scared the living crap out o' Garrick. Had to pad his shoulder, calling him Brave *Sir* Garrick [Come to think of it, Garrick kind of reminds me of - despite that he's a coward, which pompeius weren't - Gnaeus Pompeius who insisted to be called 'Magnus'. *phew* as the patrician bonis would ever do *that*. Or maybe they did? Couldn't be before after he'd married Cornelia Scipia, after his poor Julia passed away...] Anyways, for hours).
As we worked our way down the mines, killing more Kobolds (Stealth and charge for those pesky commanders) we stumbled upon a lair of some sort.
Within it we found, yay  more Kobolds! Oh, and a imprisoned Elven enchanter too (well, he was a sorc in my game - tutu). He told us that a Half-Orc had stolen his beloved Moonblade.
I really couldn't care less, but we could use him seeing as both Immy and Xzar had passed away. So we went to fight this Mulahey.
First, I send Monty in. good ol' Monty backstabbed him, but as soon as his obligated 'badass-evil-dude dialogue' had finished, he threw 'hold' at him.
Now this was bad, as you can probably imagine. So I went in wearing the Cloak of Algeron and charmed Mulahey. Some Kobolds saw me and I had Mulahey throw Entangle and Hold on them.
I made Mulahey kill the Kobolds, and gathered my characters aroundhim.
I prepared, and attacked quickly. He went down easy...

When Mulahey was down, we took the items, and scrolls, and such from his chest, and left his domain. Instead of going the normal way back through the mines, Xan informed me that I could take a path leading north, 'round a lake.
At the end we met some slimes, though they were dispatched of with little effort.
outside in this new Area Monty went scouting , and made some acquaintances.

He also met a Mage, though he newer introduced me to him properly.

I decided it was 'bout time to head back to Nashkell, someone owed me a reward, but on the way I was assaulted by some Amazon chick assasins!
Xan threw a sleep spell immediately after seeing them; Branwen threw Doom at their leader, and Monty who'd hidden prior to entering battle backstabbed the Archer.
Unfortunately the two other goons slew him before I could react. Branwen threw a hold, but that did'na work, so I charmed the leader instead.
Now that I had control over the amazon chick, I made her throw some spells on the two others.
When I felt ready for it, the group charged with all they had. That wasn't exactly me brightest idea to date.
Well, we conquered against all odds in the end, I'll just have Garrick *work* a wee on the "true" story before it get's published (Damn you Volo :nono: ).

Back in Nashkell I got the guys revived, and re-geared. Outside the local Inn, yet another assassin arrived at the scene. Despite his fancy 'I'm-a-badass-so-just-give-up' dialogue, he went down easy.
That is only 'cus I'd made the right preparations, though.

Guess Branwen's as good as Monty when it comes to picking her fights
Monty goes staelthy! Yeah baby, yeah..!
What Foul Magic is this!!! <- No ordinary talking chicken? , hast thou ever met a regularly talking chicken :hmm:
*Tsk*,*tsk*... An Antichickenator spell isn't something to be played with!

    *SPOILER ALERT*

    Thus far

Back in Beregost we met the red Wizard once more. He said that twas time to reveal his true identity. The first thought that came to my mind was Taluntain  ! But then Branwen reminded me that he could nay be the Pink wizard, 'cus, well - he wasn't pink!
Some Officer from the great City of Baldur's Gate wanted to speak with me: She would pay me for each bandit scalp that I could provide. Neat, in a disgusting kinda way.

We finally faced Tranzig, a goon of Mulahey's, in the a roome on the second floor of Feldpost Inn. It would seem that this wizard was in fact the one who'd petrified poor Branwen; so we charged at the prick!
This is getting kind of trivial, each time I write: And we charged... the sentence is followed up with a Which wasn't one of my brightest ideas (Not to mention the deja vou of me and Branwen being the only survivors...

Once again the ocean called for me, it felt like a pulling of sorts, so I went.

As I entered the Lighthouse area, something very weird happened. It was as everything suddently went in slow-motion. Xan activated some otherwordly powers on his Moonblade, and we actually teleported! Cool beyond words(He called it CLUA or some such).
We picked up Safana, teleported to the cave, killed the Sirines (Or they actually rather killed each other, as I charmed one of them, Xan another, they killed the third, and began killing each other afterwards).

Safana had warned me that powerfull Flesh Golems were guarding the cave, and I for one didn't want to take on a Flesh golem! Monty hid in the shadows, and ran in to grab the items.
As soon as he'd taken the items, his pressence was revealed. At firstr Montaron stood frozen to the ground, but just before the flesh Golem could lay it's arms at his neck, he remembered that I'd packed an extra Potion of Invisibility in his backpack this morning.
We escaped with some decent items, and a boring book...

Twas a sunny day that we stumbled upon the foultest of magic the realms had ever seen! In the wilderness we encountered naught but a Talktative Chicken!
What do one do, let alone a common gnome like, when facing one of naturest most evil apparations!?! Well, one dost nay dare stand against the will of a talking chichen, so we promised to escort it to a mage named Talanthyr, who held his residence in the area above.
It was first when we met Thalantyr that I fully understood the situation: The chicken was nay a divine apparation, but a stupid aprentice who'd played with dangerous magics, and gotten himself polymorphed.
Talanthyr explained that in order to restore Melicamp to his original self, he'd need a human skull as a component. Fortunately I never travel without my faithful drinking' skull. Though it was a sad day that we departed, I knew I could always kill Garrick if I wanted a new one.
Let the magic's begin I told Thalantyr, and so it did. Unfortunately poor Melicamp died in the procees; but at least he went with a blow! :hahaerr:

    The Bandit Camp Awaits!

(By-the-by, sold the manual of Bodily Health, my PC was already the main killing force of the party, it would ruin the concept if he became better. With all the books hed end up with a total stat score of 87... Now he has 82, which in regularly D&D (at least the characters my dices can roll) just about a normal roll.with 87 we'd gotten a wee to close to the 90', which is a über roll. I got to remind myself sometimes´that I want to keep this party weak! That's why I've also decided to dish Elgernon's Cloak. It simply makes too many a fight, a walk in the park. If I want to charm, Xan got to do the job!).

    @ :
Bah, he wouldn't leave one of his end characters dead; he probably just hasn't gotten back to town yet.

    @olimikrig:
How long are you going to keep Branwen and Monty? Are you gonna wait until you can replace them with Quayle and Tiax, or will you dump them even earlier?

EDIT: On second thought, don't dump your only healer until you've got replacements. Branwen is certainly misunderstood enough (everybody prefers Viconia) to stick around for a little while.

Well done on getting the CLUA console working for teleporting. When using v6 i couldnt teleport to an essential area after it wasnt added to the world map. I had to skip the entire section. You seem to be using v4 though so all should be well :D

Detect Illusion will get rid of those Mirror Images (main mage protection)

No lock, just a trap (though it'll fry you if you're not careful :xx: ). A Mirror Image from Xan would take care of it nicely.

    @Fel
    Tutu, Xan = Sorc...
The reason why I made Xan a sorc: Lvl cap! Xan will have a small selection of spells available to him at the end of the game, but will be able to cest these spells loads of times (ring of wiz = he has 12 lvl one spells atm).
Another thing I had to focus upon was that Xan is melee. Yes MI is great when he's melee. However, he have only lvled up once by now, andhave naught but rainbow hands spell thingie, charm person and Mage arm... (which I chosed when he lvled up), by the time I reach Tazok, I don't think he'll have Mirror Image yet :p

Thanks for low-spoiler edition, I feel kinda flattered! :p

How close are you to the Sarevok battle(it would be your greatest test in BG methinks) and what levels are you? (just curious)

Plus what did you to poor Immy? Where did you dump her? Again, just curious.

EDIT: Waaa I just READ the first line as I noticed you mentioned Imoen. You left your only childhood friend, one closest to you, one who loves and cares for you to rot and become kobold food? :sosad: And you think your alignment is NEUTRAL indeed? :nono:
