ToB romance with Vici

Sorry for posting this but I'm a little confused.
My problem: I played SoA and after about 60 days I managed to finish and I didn't fight any drow and Yochlol......or something like that.
Then I installed ToB and romance stopped, at least I think so because she doesn't say anything. So I thought it is because it's not the right moment but now I've already killed Yaga Shura and she didn't mention anything about "What do I thik of all this killing ......."
The point is that I want her to change to the good one. I did't meet her wraith brother neither.....

What can I do....or...what do I have to set to make this romance work like I met her wraith brother and so on.........????
I would play it all again if I had time.....please any help appreciated....

 

I think that you simply did not conclude the SoA part of the romance to it's end and thus it has not resumed in ToB...

 

How can I resume my romance with her without playing all the game again???
I supose that I just change some variebles .....
so that my romance continue as I met her wraith brother and so on, as everything needed to contineu this romance is already done. Like everything that should happen already happened.......

 

The easiest way to know if you finished the romance in SoA is remembering whether or not Viconia was turned into a vampire when you went to fight Bodhi for the last time. If she did not, then the romance did not finish.

If you want to change the romance variable to where she is in love with you, and have cheats enabled, the code is:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("ViconiaRomanceActive","GLOBAL",2)

From there, the ToB romance should continue normally.

 

Not neccessarily, you will have to probably set the lovetalk ratings as well.

if you look on extremists guide and set it to the target number and set the romance active to 2 it should start in ToB, you may want to speed the roance up by using AdvanceRealTime(seconds) to catch up.

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",76) I think, have Viccy selected when you do that one.
CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(#) where # is the number of seconds. All cheats are entered like they are written here.

If you just could write me what happens depending of the number I write......it sounds simple just to enter som number in there but what it will do if I enter 6 or 666 ???

 

Extremist and Slappy made a great guide about the romances that includes all the codes for each dialogue of each romance. In SOA, I believe Viconia's ends at 67. You can download it here.

 

Viconia's final SoA lovetalk is 76 -- the longest romance in the game in terms of interactions necessary to complete it.

I understand that. I was correcting the statement about Viconia's final lovetalk number.

I've only romanced her a few times but if she is talking with you again, that's good. Before too long, she will start the conversations which will take her down the path to neutral good -- should you choose to take her in that direction.

 

Yeah, exactly. When they say the SoA romance ended at lovetalk76, that means you have to set it to that to get any response out of her in ToB.

Greetings All,

This is my first post on this board and I have a problem similar to Bledula's. Basically after completing SoA (and Viconia's SoA romance) and making the in-game transition to ToB, Viconia won't love talk. Some of the other threads mentioned that the lovetalks in ToB were triggered on events rather than time and I seem to have walked right by them.

I've killed Gromnir, seen the ghost Gorion and Viconia'a brother, killed Yaga-Shura and am now just about to enter the Machine of Lum the Mad level of Watcher's Keep, all without a lovetalk.

So, does anyone know a way to force the lovetalks to happen without going all the way back to the beginning of ToB or at least know of any variables that I can check to ensure that all is well if I do have to go back?

First off, welcome.

I, and others, have pointed out ways to check to see if the romance is still active. The key attribute in determining whether or not the romance is still alive is if Viconia was kidnapped by Bodhi. If she was, then you're safe.

You should have had a lovetalk interaction upon first entering the pocket plane. The others will occur in time, though as I recall there are a few that are triggered by events or a series of events, but not until much later in the game.

If you have cheats enabled, you can force an interaction by pressing CTRL-I, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will get a lovetalk interaction. Also remember that there will be some interactions that are triggered by resting.

It sounds like you haven't really progressed all that far into ToB. Many of her interactions will be during her transition to neutral good. Keep in mind that at any time you respond to any of her interactions with something that would indicate a leaning towards evil (desire for power, birthright, etc), the conversations will end, much like screwing up the romance in SoA and she will remain evil. There will be more interactions with her as you come towards the final battle of the game.

Well, the SoA portion of the romance is definitely complete and the variables are all fine (I checked and used the romancing guides on SP). And while I'm not that far into ToB I should have had at least ONE lovetalk by now (during the first entrance of the pocket plane I believe was said). I've also tried resting repeatedly in the PP but the lovetalk variable remains on 77. I'll try the Ctrl + I thing just in case, but anyone know if I can manually enter a specific trigger command from the console?

And its a bit sad to learn that the romance ends abruptly if you don't convert her to neutral good . What's a priest of Talos to do. Become Bhaal the Second and ravage the planes I suppose.

 

You may have misunderstood my post and I apologize.

It's not so much that the romance itself is screwed, but the conversations that would lead her down the path of neutral good will be screwed which means far fewer interactions between you and Viconia. AFAIK, the romance remains intact regardless of which direction you choose to counsel her, but it will affect the amount of conversations you have.

The command to force the next romance interaction is:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal(“ViconiaRomance”,”GLOBAL”,1)

Keep in mind that certain conditions have to have been met or you may need to be in a specific area to force some interactions, which could be why there have been no interactions to begin with.

Ahhh, I see. Well, I tried the Ctrl +I thing but it doesn't seem to even induce a party interaction. That ViconaRomance thing might work, since mine is currently at 3045380 and hasn't moved since the beginning of ToB. Thanks Spelladonna, I'll definately try it.

Do any of these need to take place in Saradush? If so I'll have to jump back a few saves but if I can get it firing I'll be most pleased. And its good to hear that the romance continues even if you are evil. (/me adds Turn Vicci Good to list of games to play)

Finally, are there any other global variables which affect how the lovetalks trigger? I've found a few that may be involved but I certainly don't want to change them and mess stuff up further.
