ToB romance with Vici

CTRL-I may have to be held down for a couple of seconds in order for a conversation to begin. Sometimes, there just isn't anything for them to say.

If you enter the console command I gave you in a previous post twice, most of the time that will force a lovetalk. Remember, though, that some will require certain events to have taken place or for you to be in a certain place before the lovetalk will trigger -- much like 99% of Jaheira's lovetalks only occurred outside the city.

Don't know if it's coincidence, but most of my lovetalks seem to take place in the pocket plane or right before resting. I can only remember one lovetalk, with Viconia, occuring after a particularly tough battle outdoors. She started rambling about the thrill of battle and that people easily fell my power.

 

Hmm,I'm not sure that I've entered the command twice in a row, once doesn't seem to work, I'll try that too, thanks. Is it possible that my responses to the Solar are eliminating the convert Vici to NG dialogues? In that case should she still react to seeing her dead brother? And should the Lovetalk variable stay at 77?

Does anyone know if there's a ToB Romance guide or does anyone have a list of the things that are required to happen for a romance to progress (particularly for Viconia). I've restarted the game several times but no Romance Dialogues have fired yet . *sigh* thanks for all the help Spelladonna, I hope the enter the command twice thing works.

ToB Romanecs:
First dialogue will be random, a second or third might also be.
Then one after Saradush, when resting, in the plane is best.
Then the ghost will bring another dialogue and maybe another after that one linked to it. May be a rest dialogue
Then a random one or two
Then one after Yaga-Shura
And I think they are random after that. By Random I mean that they will be on a time but not have to have certain quests completed.

This is as far as I remember. So it may be a bit out.

To get Viconia good, say nice things. Tell her not to kill, and that she's been bad. She will want to change for you. Ask her to. When the time comes.

For the Next interaction it's CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(3000) if you type this twice it should get the next dialogue. It will alsod advance quests based on real time though, you are warned.
Setting the ViconiaRomance to 1 doesn't actually do much in ToB, though it should be 2, 1 means the Romance is still in the beginning while 2 means you are both in love with each other, 3 means the romance is over.

 

Ah yes, then I've definately missed some Lovetalks. She's never had any reaction to her brother so something's definately up.

I'll try the advice and see how it works

Find out what the RomanceActive is. Try setting it to 2, Which was the dialogue you got last?

 

Well ViconiaRomanceActive is 2 so that's OK. The last dialogue I got from Viconia (not including her interjections in the Sarevok and Master Wraith Dialogues) was the last SoA dialogue about things not being right for us to stay together.

Much later Edit: I managed to solve the problem myself. I found a local variable for Viconia called ViconiaMad3, which I picked up during SoA, but which didn't prevent progression of that romance. When the variable was removed, the 1st LT fired right away.

By the way, does anyone know where Viconia (and the other) romane dialogues are kept, so I can go through them and check no more variables are in my way?
