[IMG] I am having a bit of trouble with BG2 I've played the game for a few years...hell since it came out actually, and never before had this problem. I just payed Gaelen Bayle the 1500 GP to move on to Chapter 3..and thats where my problem is. I am trying to go to the docks district, to talk to Aran Linvail; but my game freezes at the load screen. It gets a little less than 1/4th of the way loaded and just..stops. completely freezes. I have ToB installed, and with the latest patch..and no Mods are added on, not even the bonus merchants from the pre-ordered copies. Anyone know how to solve this..?

Have you installed balderdash? Or maybe the SP fixpack. Never had the problem myself though so i can't help much more than that :)

You've posted this in the wrong forum if you have ToB :) Try to remember in future ;)

You should install Baldurdash as it corrects all the bugs the latest patch did not. And there are alot. I don't think its retro-active though. Still, I've never had this problem so it might be some corrupt file in your BGII folder, who knows. If all else fails, backup your savegames and re-install everything.

You don't have to backup your saves.

A reinstall should fix your problems.
