Stuck in Watcher's Keep

I seem to have errr misplaced whatever item(s) you need to exit watchers keep. I have made it down to Demogorgon and am supposed to exit to get the Helmites but the text says "Something is holding you back. You apparently need something to proceed" or along those lines. I dropped several things to make space along my journeys. I have back tracked for hours and still can't find what I might be missing. I have the blue and green wardstones btw. I will shadow keeper in whatever I have inadvertantly dropped if yopu guys can help me out.

Hmm. Iirc, you need to have a conversation with Demogorgon. I don't believe there is an item you need to have in inventory.

 

I don't know what those wardstones are for, but I think you need the sceptor with those 3 gems on it. Do you have the scroll the Helmites gave you?

 

Do you have the initial ward stone given to you by the helmites when you first entered the keep? They explicitly said you need it to enter and exit.

 

As Yoshimo's heart said, you need the initial ward stone given by the Helmites. The green and blue stones you have are to avoid being attacked by the two golems on the first level of the WK. The scepter with the gems are to gain entry to the fourth level of the WK from the third level.

 

That must be it. I apparaently dropped it at level 3 or above inadvertantly. I was dropping lots of low worth gems and such and musta discarded it then by accident. Does anyone remember the name by chance? I went thru all misc category on Shadowkeeper earlier and it didn't jumpo out at me. BTW Thanks to those who responded.

 

Try PLOT01J or PLOT01K, though I think those are the blue and green wardstones.

Maybe PLOT01B. It's labeled Vigil Stone in my items list.

 

The Vigil stone is the one that you need to get in and out of shadow keep. The other items that you need to pass from level to level have other names.

 

Thank you sirs. I am pretty sure I know where my loot is now also. After killing the guys who gave me the Phantom? sword and deck of many things I had Minsc drop his whole inventory on the ground to make switching things around easier and I bet I forgot to pick it up before I went to level 4. I wonder what else I left in that pile lol. If the vigil stone frees me I can get back to level 3 and see. I hope nothing has decayed yet.
