    Thank you. I know of the Auramaster - an interesting kit, no question. I'm with the Avenger, however, not least for roleplaying reasons. Perhaps I'd give your druid a shot... but it's not included into the Refinements mod, and I'm a big fan of that one. I'm fond of the comets the Avenger can call from the skies. ;)

    But Auramasters have access to "Aura cleansing" as a 7th level spell ;) :)

    Although the "miscast magic" disadvantage doesn't make sense to me, I will make two items and will add 'chance to miscast magic' to one of them.

    Both items will be robes, one of which will have miscast magic (and penalties to saves) as disadvantages, the other one will have immunity to healing (plus penalties to saves & Constitution). I have already prepared the name and the description for the latter. Is anyone willing to give a name and a full description for the former?

    Since the mod will be eventually considered as *my* work (I repeatedly denied ownership but people keep telling me that it is my mod; so be it!), I won't release the miscaster version publicly. The public one will be the one with immunity to healing disadvantage; but I will happily send the miscaster robe privately to anyone who has voted for "miscast magic" and wants the item in that way. Just send me a PM to have your miscaster robe.

    Those who want my recommended version of the robe (i.e. the one with immunity to healing etc...) can just wait for its public release in this site. I will submit it to the site within the next few days.

    EDIT: Well, actually immunity to clerical spells has gained more votes than miscast magic, anyway. (at least, so far)

    Will the immunity to healing version of the robe be cursed so you can't just remove it, heal yourself, and then re-equip it?

    Hmm, if you put the item in the inventory of some tough arch-mage, or better, lich, it will be cool. This way you can ensure that the PC can not get the uber item in very early levels. IMO, Robe of Vecna should have been in the inventory of a tough mage, perhaps Kangaxx's first form? (that would be soo cool!)

    The robe can be found in the Lizardmen hideout in Planar Sphere. I will also add extra enemies to that chamber to make it more difficult to gain the robe. If you want to enhance planar sphere even further, Install my Improved Anvil over this item mod.
    The item will not be cursed. While the robe is equipped, you will be immune to all regenerating effects, all healing spells and even healing potions, greater restoration, limited wish and wish's healing features too, which means that you cannot heal your character in ANY way.

    Once the fight is over, you can unequip the robe to quaf postions or be healed through greater restoration spell, but your immunity to regeneration and other healing spells will not be removed even after unequipping the item.

    In other words, since you cannot change your robe in the middle of a fight, you won't be able to heal yourself even by potions while engaged in combat.

    I made this decision, because immunity to greater restoration spell's healing feature entails immunity to healing potions as well. It would seem that I couldn't make the character immune to greater restoration's healing feature because in that case you wouldn't be able to even use potions and your character would die sooner or later. Nonetheless, I actually decided to add this very strong disadvantage to the item, but on the other hand, I also decided to allow the character to unequip the robe to be able to use potions at least while not engaged in battle. Do you have any better suggestion?

    Ok, I completed the mod and tested it in practice.

    From a technical point of view everything works seamlessly. However, at mid levels (let alone low levels) the item's disadvantages (immunity to healing, etc...) outweigh the item's advantage. Auracleansing is not good enough to compensate such disadvantages. (This is the opposite of what some people had predicted in their posts in this thread.)

    I think I should add some other advantages to the item to balance it.

    Before I release the mod, do you want it to include more items? If you have suggestions for more new items send them here and send them soon please. (Check the item list of Improved Anvil to make sure that what you have in mind is not already available in that mod. I provided the link to IA's readme in one of my previous posts in this thread.)

    It should be an Ioun Stone which triggers a wild surge every time you cast a spell. That would be incredibly fun, and potentially powerful.
