I can't find the portal key that it is needed to go to the 2nd level of the Irenicus dungeon.It's not in Ellesime's room....and I have checked thrice the whole dungeon

 

Also all the monster loot?

 

Yes! In fact,te chest that should contain the jewel of the equalizer,the key,and bracers AC 8 is nowhere to be found......I's not my first time to play BG.... Could any mod do that?I've just installed some parts of Ease-of-Use mod..

 

It MUST be in Elisime's room, which is located at the back of the Dryads. The room is very heavily trapped and holds many containers, desks. Push TAB to reveal all of them, and search throughly.

If still you can't find it, I guess this is a bug. Or do you have a mod which changes first dungeon? Could be the source. Anyway, you can CLUA console (cheating) it in, or use Shadow Keeper to put it in your inventory. If you want other guys can help you with item codes and such.

 

MISC4G Its not moveable so only use it when you're in the dungeon

 

Did you talk to the dryads about it?

 

Umm, you needed to talk with Dryad's about it? I remember they were saying 'he uses 'her' key, you see, he still loves her' or such things, but if you don't talk, won't the key spawn? You can accidentally kill them before even being able to talk! They turn hostile for some reason if you cast a nasty necromantic spell near them, even if you do NOT hurt them slightest. True!

 

It's a suggestion, nothing more. Sometimes the key is there without talking to them and sometimes it is not.

 

It should be in the chest at the foot of the bed in Elisime's room.

 

The item is non-tradeable, so if you were monkeying around with a multiplayer session and swapped out the character holding the key, you're screwed. Fastest way to fix is to CLUAConsole it in, as suggested above.
