Aerie Romance Badly Bugged (Some spoilers)

Hi. Before you go flaming me, I have done a search, but the methods that have been shown haven't worked for me so far. I'm stuck on the Aerie romance: She announced the 'Little secret' romance in Balthazar's city a few months (Real-life) time, and so far it has not advanced. Now I am near the end of the game, about to face the final challenge, and she has not said anything since. The lovetalk is stuck on 49, and her Pregnanttimer variable is 25897768. I have only just installed SK to check the stats, and I have tried Advancetimer, Setglobal, changing the Pregnanttimer, Setting the Lovetalk to 50, all to no avail: She just won't talk to me! I had the Flirtpack installed for a while, and all patches installed. No other mods. Can anyone offer a solution to my problem?

Could it be a simple fact of saying the wrong thing to her? Something that could end the romance, that is. Or do one of those programs remove that problem?

 

If you've been using SK to edit globals then it may have caused some problems.

The thing is her being pregnant is MEANT to take a long time.

You need to enable the console and enter the correct code if you want to speed it up or be patient and just wait.

You have entered the wrong codes to change the times in other words. It runs on real time, not game time.

 

Pregnancies last about 9 1/2 months. However i don't think you will have to wait as long in the game but who knows. Plus she is an elf, so i would have thought her pregnancy would last much longer.

But anyway one thing you can do is just leave your game on, not pause it and go and out for the day and come back, and hopefully you will have a convo waiting for you.

Ah a fellow Brummie, lo ;x. Well I installed the flirt packs and I got tons of bugs, even with the fix packs and no mods installed there were still many bugs and I just give up on trying to romance any NCP now.

 

The pregnancy lasts 3600 RT minutes from the time she tells you that she's pregnant.

The timer variables are quite strange, don't even bother trying to toy with them as the values given by Shadow Keeper (or the Console) are not accurate. Don't toy with them, you'll do more harm than good.

Just FYI, in your situation, I'm not sure she should be saying too much. Once you're past the 'Quayle' dialogue, there might only be one more. Seriously, the ToB romances are not like SoA where a new LT fires every 30 minutes.

Beat the ravager, then see if anything happens whenever you try to enter the Throne.

 

Not meant as a contradiction to anyone else's post, but my experience with the Aerie romance seemed to work out somewhat differently.

The dialogs seemed to come up after specific events in the game (unlike in SoA, where I believe the internal timer was the key). For Aerie's pregnancy, I really wanted to have it conclude before I entered the final challenge, so I rested in the nice little semi-tropical room before I went to Melissan.

And boy, did I wait a long time... I think it was on the order of *at least* 6 weeks of game time. Sure, not 9 months, but since you don't know precisely when she got pregnant who knows how long she was carrying. Plus, I'd been in the game for a while - I'm not the type to rush games, even when I've been through them n times.

And yeah, even though I tend to take a long time to finish games - I think I completed this run at about 200 days, counting SoA - that's still not 9 months.

 

Correct. The baby dialogue is the only exception, which is on a timer.

Game time doesn't matter. In order for the baby to be born, the game has to be running between the two dialogues for a total of 60 hours. This does not go off your computer's clock, but refers to real time that passes while the game is running.
