    [IMG] Howdy folk,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting to the Bandit camp. I've talked to Elminster and Officer Vai and killed Tranzig in Beregost. I've also been through Larswood and Peldvale and killed Teven and Raiken, respectively. When I try to exit Peldvale to the north, however, I can't get to the Bandit Camp, and it doesn't show up on my map. I accidentally joined up with Raiken and went to the Bandit Camp in that method; however, Tazok killed off my main character (an Assassin) rather quickly, and I decided I'd rather kill Raiken. Now I can't get to the Bandit Camp, and I can't find any method I might have missed anywhere.

If it matters, I'm playing with EasyTutu, and I have terrible saving habits - having to reload from my last save prior to re-entering Beregost would cost me a whole day's playing :( Anyone know what I can do to get to the Bandit Camp? I already did a forum search here, but all of the threads simply stated to go kill Tranzig or such...

    Thanks.

I'd try to use the cheat console to teleport into this area or to respawn Tranzig or one of the guys who can get you to the Bandit Camp.

There's a bandit between Beregost and the FAI that you can intimidate for the location. I haven't always gotten into the dialogue with him though.
I am quite sure that when he is the last living bandit of the gang, he will drop to his knees and plead for mercy.

But didn't Tranzig have a scroll on him that marked the location?

I really thought I posted this in the BG1 forum  Can a mod move it for me?

Edit - nevermind, I feel stupid. The little text under the BG1 forum says to put Tutu questions in the ToB forum.

@Morgoth - yeah, I read the note Tranzig had on him right after I killed him, didn't show the location. Thanks for the heads up on the bandit between Beregost and FAI though, didn't know about that one :)

If you have a save just before joining Raiken (i think there should be autosave) give different answers to Tazok. He doesn't attack you if you speak a complex sentence that he doesn't understand. (sorry i can't remember what i said,it was really complex :D )

The correct dialogue options to get him not to fight you are 3,2. You have to show him why he needs you without insulting him, first by telling him that you "know opportunity when you see it", and then pointing out that he'd rather have too many and not need them than have too few and need more.

Thanks for the heads-up guys. I think I'm gonna take kmonster's advice and console one of the guys in, though, as I hear that ol' Tazok has a Gauntlets of Weapon Expertise on him.

Edit - I'm illiterate with the console, can anyone please help me out with the correct command?

Tazok doesn't have that gauntlets and you can't kill him. After he gets injured he goes away. You can find this item at Firewine Bridge.

Interesting, I probably won't get them anyway. That said, I kinda killed the last guy (between FAI and Beregost) that could show me the way :( Could anyone give me a command to put in the console to spawn any of the guys that can point the way and/or take you to the Bandit Camp?

    Thanks.

The console commands are different for Tutu than for regular BG1; most things have an underscore in front of them now. For example:
    CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("_RAIKEN")

w.d.'s got the right of it rather than Dengo, but there is a caveat. It takes a lot of luck to be able to kill Tazok before he beats his retreat, especially as missile weapons don't do that much damage compared to the 50 HP (IIRC) he should have left.

Thanks much Felinoid, I did not know about the underscore :)

Tazok's a long shot, but I gotta give him a try.

    Sorry for wrong info. :o
I think i should try something before i write about it. Well, after i finish my current BG2 game i shall restart again from BG1 and kill that Tazok. It means you can kill him 3 times. Some Gods like him i think.

    Hello -

Tazok can't be killed in the bandit camp in the most recent version of EasyTutu.

[IMG] Well that sucks  No matter, it's probably easier to start with them all green anyway.

Thanks for the heads-up, glad I only wasted a couple minutes trying it.
