    [IMG] OK I have SCS mod installed in my Easy TuTu game, and so all enemy mages come pre-buffed with lots of spells, depending on their levels, I think. One of their major and most common buffs is Mirror Image, and it is a really painful one in such low levels. It grants the pesky mage extra lives, almost!

    So when my Inquisitor uses his special ability to cast True Sight, it does not dispel Mirror Images. However, invisibility and improved invisibility are dispelled normally. Sometimes smarter enemies of the mod gulp invisibility potions and try to run away to save their lives when they are badly wounded, and TS instantly reveals them and we deal with them swiftly. (sucker had better gulp a healing potion instead, I exploited the AI this way to loot tons of healing potions before they have a chance to quaff them!)

    But no matter how hard I try, Mirror Images are totally unaffected by the Inquisitor!s True Sight. Why? Doesn't this spell dispel ALL hostile illusions, including Mirror Image and Blur? (haven't tested Blur though) Or is this a bug? Or is this due to a mod problem, that SCS's auto-casted Mirror Image works different than the original game's Mirror Image in respond to True Sight?

    I still get to Dispel Magic them for a swift kill but it is kinda annoying nevertheless.

    Any ideas?

    SCS uses the same Mirror Image as vanilla (easy)TuTu, so I don't think it's SCS-specific. It's got the flavour of a Tutu conversion bug (Truesight doesn't exist in BG1, so it would be unsurprising if Mirror Image isn't correctly flagged). If so, I imagine it will get fixed in easyTutu sooner or later.

    I might put a fix into the next SCS release but I'm in two minds - Mirror Image is about the only thing available for BG1 wizards to protect themselves with (it's the poor man's Stoneskin).

    As for healing potions: for visible wizards, it's suicide (the hit points recovered don't make up for the loss of a round). Default behaviour is to go invisible and only then drink the potions. I confess I hadn't allowed for Truesight when scripting this - the only BG1 resources that take down invisibility are blocked by Globe of Invulnerability.

    Macready is currently working on upgrading all EasyTutu spells to the BG2 engine;

    you may want to flag down plainab and Miloch at G3, where they are currently building a BG1 Fixpack, as non-english users still use Tutu v4, and they need lovin' too...

    Hello -

    This is indeed a bug in Tutu which results from Tutu using spells converted from BG1 (as opposed to the BG2 spells).

    As cmorgan mentioned, I am in the midst of migrating everything to the BG2 spell system, which will correct the issue. No promises on when I'll have anything available, though. In the meantime, my apologies for the inconvenience.

    Oh I see, this makes sense all of a sudden, I was curious if it was a bug special to my mod-heavy installation. Thank you all for sating my curiosity.

    As for the bug, well, I can live with that, I think. Easy TuTu is such an awesome project that a few bugs here and there can't really snuff its shine, don't worry. ;)
