If the CLUA console is already enabled, the item code is KEY29 I believe. So, you can open the console and type:

    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("KEY29")

then hit enter and check your inventory.

If the console isn't enabled, you have to find the baldur.ini file in the Baldur's gate directory. Edit it with notepad. Under program options, type:

    Debug Mode=1

Restart the game and while playing hit (ctrl) and (space) at the same time to open the console. I believe that'll do it for you.

I think keys wont disappear from the world unlike most items if you drop them. Check out all thru firkraags dungeon - that is where you get the sewer key I think - if you have ToB installed (i assume so this is that fourm) then pressing TAB will highlight all floor items so you can check around more easily for it.

Otherwise you will have to edit files like above said

Shadowkeeper won't help you open the CLUA console as far as I know. To find the baldur.ini file I simply go to the start menu, click Find, and choose file or folder, and choose to search the C drive. If this doesn't work, and you can't find it under the Baldur's Gate folder using Window's Explorer, I'm officially stumped. Don't give up though, I know little more about computers than how to turn them on, someone here is bound to know how to find that file.

Ok, here is the usual path to the baldur.ini file if for some reason you can't find it:
    C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA

It's one of the icons that look like a notepad with a little yellow star at the botom of it.

    • Open the file by double clicking on it
    • Scroll down till you see a line of code that looks like this: [Game Options]
    • Then type Cheats=1 under the Game Options line (case sensitive)
    • Then save the file and restart the game if it is running
    It should look like this:
    [Game Options]
    Cheats=1

If you are still having problems...take your computer out side and shoot it several time with a shotgun!!! :rolling:

I thought that it was supposed to look like this:

    [Program Options]
    Debug Mode=1

This is what I have in my baldur.ini file.

For some game versions, Debug Mode is not working, for some games Cheats is not working, for some both work.
So add both lines in Baldur.ini (Cheats and Debug Mode).

Next problem can be your CTRL key. Try with the second CTRL key.

Also the problem might be windows key mapping - are you sure you haven't attached no program to run when you press CTRL or SPACE keys in windows?
