Copper Coronet, without question. Quests, good items from both Bernard and Joluv, and an awesome RP in the SPS forum.

 

I agree with fell but I also like the Sea Bounty tavern with the pirate caves in the back though I am not sure if that came with a mod (probably did)

 

Hmmm...so many choices...

I like the Copper Coronet because of the quests the tavern offers as soon as you enter, but I don't like its slave ties.

I also like the Mithrest Inn due in part to the extremely polite Innkeeper/Bartender. After a long day on the road, there's nothing better than renting a 'royal' suite from such a well mannered person.

I don't really like the Five Flagons Inn...even though it's the only Inn in Amn that has a playhouse, the fact that the Innkeeper/Bartender lies about having every drink on Faerun on tap is unappealing.

And as for the Tavern within the Drow City...all I can say is that there's nothing better than pit fights! This tavern holds everything one would need for the rest of their lives! All quests are secondary to this jewel in the heard of a boring city.

But then again, there's nothing more rewarding than falling asleep next to a camp fire you built alongside a road...in the middle of nowhere.

 

They should have added pit fights in the CC.

 

I'm a Five Flagons man...they just seem like the friendliest bunch in town. Plus...hey, free diamonds!

 

I like Copper Coronet because:

- lots of containers to stash items
- there's a shop in Bernard, and a cheaper shop to identify items in Joluv
- close to the entrance to the slums to minimize walking. The only catch is an extra autosave screen.

 

Sea's Bounty - I like The Thumb. Vulgar Monkey was a close second only for Pirate Newf.

First time poster here.

I like the Copper Coronet because it reminds me a bit of that cantina from the original Star Wars movie on that desert planet. I imagine all of those shady characters sitting in the shadows, whispering in conspiratorial tones, just under the gloomy music. Both good and evil characters can assert themselves here.

Five Flagons is a nice enough place, I guess. Though IIRC they do not serve Golden Sands which is my favourite drink for some reason. (I do so fancy the name!)

 

I would have to say a tie between Five Flagons and Cooper Corronet.
Five Flagons because of the poximity of all the merchants and another inn.
Copper Coronnet for the Thumb and his good prices!

 

Don't know actually, because rightfull Cavaliers don't have the time to spend their time at pub's, because they're always wacking evil, and paladins aren't allowed to drink.

Copper Coronet, by a wisker over the Ust Nathar Tavern, but only because of the stores and npc's. I like the atmospher of the Ust Nathar one - it really embodies the city and the pit fights are so damn fun.

 

Crooked Crane for all those nifty magic items Mr. Lich has tucked away. Although, the Ust Natha tavern is a close second ("Boo knows!").

 

There's a place on Bourbon Street that has Dixie Blackened Voodoo on tap. That's my favorite. I just don't see the point of alcohol in games.

 

The Copper Coronet because most NPC's go there to wait for you so you don't have to run around trying to find them. Heh, I like where Edwin stands...

 

Ust Nathar Inn is by far my favourite...too bad the animal and drow fights weren't harder
