Planer Prison crash...Help!

    [​IMG] I followed Haer'Dallis (sp?) through the portal, and am now fighting the demon slave master thingy. But theres a problem...

    I defeat the demon easily but when ever I kill one of the Air Elementals that he has the game crashes and a message appears saying:

    "An assertion failed in ChDataTypes.cpp at line number 250"

    I don't know alot about these things so I'm asking you guys...Help! :confused:

    Sorry forgot to say that I have ToB installed, don't know whether thats important.

    You could just avoid going up to the demon at all i guess, i suppose you could take down the "bigboss" without turning all the thralls against him, i've never tried it though, so im not sure. in any case it would be much more difficult!

    That's a corrupt file message. You could copy your save games folder, uninstall, reinstall and then recopy your save games folder back into the BGII directory to see if that fixes the problem.

    [​IMG] Install the latest patch. Then try again. you don't have to back up saved games either - ininstall doesn't delete them.

    Thanks for your help guys its all sorted, I uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Now I'm in the planar sphere...which wasn't a good idea.
