    [​IMG] Can anyone suggest a way to kill the Balor Demon in the underdark. He smokes me everytime. I know I need +3 or better to hit but what spells help.

    I summoned 3 skeletal warriors to keep him busy while Minsc and my paladin hacked him from behind. Resist fear does do wonders against demons.

    This is the one battle I used Slayer Change for; I was so fed up with reloading and getting killed that I finally tried it even though I'm playing a mainly good party. My main character killed him in about 3 rounds, more or less single-handed since the others panicked. Good luck!

    [​IMG] Aaah, that´s a quest made for cavaliers ... remove fear helps a lot ... just like a certain mace (from a bonus trader) in the hands of a char specialised in fighting demons ... :D

    Good supporting spells are free movement, protection from evil and resist fear.

    Otherwise: Missile fire (tansheron´s bow, firetooth and sling of everard for example) helps a lot. Additionally a few well placed spells like magic missile could be useful.

    i just beat him today. I found that Bolt of Glory works great. Also, slap afew lower resistance spells (2, maybe 3, depending on what level ur mage is) on him and them some mms for maximum effect.

    Just haste your party and then pund him work almost against every foe. Resist fear is as stated above useful. The last time i beated him i dont think i got hit once my tanks was Jaheira, Anomen and Keldorn.
