Multiplayer Party (spoilers)

Hi guys.

I was thinking of starting a multiplayer party, but still go with some of the NPC's. It will probably look something like this ;

Antagonist : Some kind of fighter OR Specialist Mage / Sorcerer
My 2nd char : Some kind of thief
My 3d char : Some kind of cleric
Minsc
Kelsey
Soluafein?

Yes, there it is. I have never had Kelsey or Soluafein in my party (I have just installed the mods) mostly because I haven't suffered the game long enough with the mods installed yet. I've played the game (+ ToB which I don't have installed right now) at least 5 times all the way through.

My reason for creating 3 chars is that I hate the thieves of the game AND the clerics. Well, mostly the thieves, but I really can't stand Anomen, and I don't like the fact that Viccy's Turn Undead CONTROLS the undead instead of destroying them.

My questions are :

1. Will Kelsey / Soluafein add something to my party with this setup? (Banters, romance and so on)

2. I have UB installed and have read a bit about the kidnapping of Boo (spoiler?) therefore I want to include Minsc. My question ain't regarding Minsc, but rather Kalah. I took the option (with a previous party) to "adventure" when the genie in the Gates district prompted me to wish. Will this be a "grand" adventure or did I err?

3. Any recommendations on the specialist mage? It might even be a sorcerer. I've played pure mage before, and a F/M and I enjoyed both.

4. Recommendations for Cleric / Thief. I was thinking about a Pure Cleric and maybe an assasin, but as this will be my only thief, maybe it will be wiser to pick a Pure Thief aswell?

1. Soluafein will romance with any protagonist , even male. Kelsey will romance only with female
2. I don't know...
3. Take a sorcerer. Is the strongest mage in the game.
4. Take a Cleric of L. because he has hold undead. Take an assasin but use all skills in move silently and hide in shadow for backstab.Assasin is not very god for traps and lock picks. Use a pure class.

 

3. Sorcerer has limited spell selection. Conjurer is the strongest mage imo. Can't use spells from the divination class (so no Identify) but you can buy the glasses of identify on the second floor of Gaelan Bayles home.
4. yes, pure Cleric and a straight Thief.

you can be gay?! Soluafein is a drow, right? These are mods, i am guessing. And Kelsey is a lesbian......elf,human???. Where do you get these mods?!

don't ask, read the rules instead, it says in the rules that you should no ask about gems and how the system works.

anyway, Kelsey is not lesbian, he's a man.

 

1.Sola-based encounters i don't know about Kelsey.
2.No, it's mini-mod IMO
