[IMG] An man killed my companion,
    a man with blue eyes,
    as we sat drinking,
    observing butterflies.

As I cried I saw the man -
    oh a beastly, horrid face!
He had flesh of a cruel, punishing venom,
and those eyes, that steady pace!

My tears fell upon his boots,
those worn and traveled old things,
and so I cried up to the sky,
"Oh, it is my death he brings!"

And so became a carcass of mine,
and the black world around me,
upon its gently lapping I slept,
away, away, wondering what would be.

    A man named Averizz,
brought me from dead to back and
    luckily I found my soul,
wandering by the sea, he was,
    wandering without a role.

Well, I decided I'd take my soul,
    put my arm around his,
    we'd dance through a river,
    I'd take him to Averizz!

    Soon we'd be together,
    healthy and alive,
    soon we'd dance and frolic,
    upon Earth's wave we'd dive!

But Averizz was dead, you see,
which came to me a surprise,
and through his death, we came to see,
    my soul and me,
    that Averizz had blue eyes.
