    Hi .
    I'm new here .
(Is there something like "quick answers" topic here?)

Is there some way to know special abilities of enemy in the game ? I mean , say , I'm fighting golem and trying to damage it with spells . If I knew it is immune to spells I wouldn't try .

    Any help is highly appreciated
    Thanks in advance .

    Welcome to the boards :)

Er, if you want to know the enemies immunities then download Shadow Keeper and look at the creature files. Otherwise, you will find BoM to be very very helpful with just about anything to do with the games covered.

Use the search link toward the top of the page to find out if there is already threads covering info on things before posting a new topic.

Well, there is the chat, but otherwise you would hafta wait for answers, IIRC.

If you look at the game information screen during battles, you can see things like "Clay Golem was immune to my slashing damage", meaning of course that the golem is resistant to that certain forms of attack; stuff like "magic resistance" will also flash, and your characters will often say things to the effect of "my weapon is ineffective" (and I believe that shows up in the game information screen too), so your best bet without an editor is simple trial and error. The game wouldn't be much of a challenge if you could just find out all a monster's weaknesses with a few clicks, after all.

    Fair enough .
But last time , while being in Planar Sphere , I just couldn't hit clay golem for a single HP , and I don't have a clue what's matter . I slayed all his clay golem buddies before and this one is like indestructable :( . All my party is sped up , imbued , weapons are high-class . What's wrong ? I just had to steal what is in crate and fled away .

Clay golems are immune to slashing/piecing weapons. I don't know why they're immune instead of resistant but meh. You have to use clubs/maces/flails, stuff that does blunt/bludgeoning damage.

If need be, you can always snatch the items from the room then run out and close the door. The golem won't be able to open the door and will be stuck in there.
