Oh, dear - freeform.

 

Frosty is referring to Dracons from my own Ruleset.

A Noble Dracon is a subrace. Appearing as human, or sometimes elven, people with strong features. Some may show signs of their draconic lineage through wings or tails showing and sometimes spines, rills, or facial features. However they can change into their fully draconic counterpart once a day, twice if they can stretch themselves to. They also have a few special abilities.

 

Maybe it might be a good idea to get a list of races, and a desciption of them, together to advoid confusion.

 

Do you mean a list of all fantasy races, fantasy races people are using or ones we should limit it to?

 

lol, all the fanitsy races, yeah right. What a big job that would be. No just the ones which exsist in the Kingdom of SP.

 

So that would include D&D races:
*Humans* - you should be one in RL... hopefully, maybe some exceptions here.
*Elves* - pointy ears, like trees, gentle, should know about them. They are a proud race and live a long time, wise and quick.
*Dwarves* - little bearded folk, like metal, not magic though. They can be tempted with gold yet are still quite loyal. Like their drink.
*Halflings* - happy little people, like food, very quick. They have a strong sense of humour and aren't usually fond of travelling.
*Gnomes* - ...unusual little people. Like magic and are intelligent... sometimes Turnips... Gnomes are often thought insane and many are. They are distantly related to dwarves and like gems.
*Drow* - Worship Lolth (usually) they try to make themselves a superior race, often killing off weak members of society. They like the dark and spiders. They study clerical and magical arts as well as fighting skills. Fond of torture and sex.
*Tiefling* - half demon, someone will probably want to be one. Sometimes horned, tailed, cat-eyed. Depending on how strong their demon blood is depends on how much it shows in their appearence. They are quick and smart.
*Aasimar* - half celestial, holy, good, opposite of Tiefling really. They often have a birthmark resembling their deity and often have golden or white hair and pale skin. They are always good and are wise and beautiful.

Some random races...
*Monkeyperson* - Apeman

*Dracon* - Noble, Common and Barbaric, basically Dragon-people, Nobles can change into their draconic form, Commons stay inbetween the two and Barbaric are more humanoid with dragon features.
*Fallen Avatar* - A mix of celestial and demonic blood creates an avatar, able to call upon either blood, when fallen they either die or lose a part of their soul.

I suppose more will probably be added. perhaps PM me so I can add more or whatever. And half-races you can mix yourself. I haven't put things like Half-elf because you can put it and we'll know what you mean anyway. because really, anyone could be a half blood with anything.

 

I would say that we should even have less of a choice than this. Because (ashuming we are using my histroy) we did all escape from some land across the sea. So logicly we'd be mostly one race, a few exceptions I guess would be ok.
I mean like dwarfs live in human cities sometimes, so they might have been dragged along. And a few elves might have been visiting or might have been an ambastior or something. But I just don't think it would be logical if we had a wide varity of races.

Unless just say (refering back to the history) Tal united all the races against this common enemy, who defeated them hence the reason they fled.

People may not have all come at the same time. Some might have heard of the islands and decided to check it out. Or fled their own countries to join Tals' expedition, hoping for some peace.

 

Meaby it was the blood war that made us escape the other world. Too many devils and demons can be annying, y'now.

 

Yeah I guess so. But once again it would make much more sence for most people to have come across with Tal.

 

I still say that we have NPC's. I think it was 8people that said that we should have 3 NPC's for every PC and I agree fully. I would like to controll more than one character and if someone didn't want to use his NPC's he could just give them to womeone else, making him a leader of many soilders and commoners. In the end we would end up with one great army that could rule the islands.

Known as the man that sits in the shadows of the world looking for a worthy apprentice to carry on the Ichimatsu Banshi technique.

As a child i wach my parents killed by paladins for being monks. I was saved by Shiraku Kimadake of the Old Order who taught me the Ichimatsu Banshi technique. When i turned 15 my sensei ordered me to fight him to the death. This was the battle I created the gouka attack in.

Ten years later I met Ari the Dark Jade who hated paladins as much as me for resons she woyuld never tell me. On the day we were to be married she was killed by a paladin that charged us with blasphemy it was on this day that i became Acrones Slayer of the Holey ones. Using my Gouka attack for the first time since my battle will my sensei I murdered many paladins and clerics in the name of my beloved Ari.

Three years later I faught powerfull paladin whose name I shall never know. He left me for dead on the bloodied field of battle where i was saved by Magenara the Archdruid.

After nearly dieing I stoped my man slaying ways and settles down in (name of city) and started my search for an apprentice.


I have not killed anyone in fifteen years and have decided to end the Ichimatsu Banshi technique forever.

 

Yeah, we do certainly need NPCs. Even if they are just mindless beings obaying our every command.

And could everyone just remember not to make their character too (I think this is the right too?) over powered.

 

Mine isn't that, right? I am not sure, could lower some of the stats if you want.

 

Na, I wouldn't say yours is too powerful. But you might want to check you adding there.
Just try to make it life like, I guess.
