Good RPG servers like ALFA?

    I just found one today. Havent played much, but as much as i didnt find out about it, it should be on the same level as ALFA.

    Of course, that's in theory. It's meant to be like that, but i've yet to see the players. I do doubt it'll be the same, cause it is after all a public server, accessible to anyone.

    Oh the name... Anphillia under Roleplaying section.
    Currently i'm in Axfell (one of the fractions in the module).

    I've heard good things about http://xunderburakan.tk/ but have never tried it out myself. To tell the truth, I don't even know if it's a RP server, or a Hack'n'Slash...

    The three I know of,all run by former ALFAins are: LoG a low magic Greyhawk world run by the former TVS team, The Dalelands a nonpassword, no hak world run by the former Daggerdale team, and Toril run by a group of former ALFA DMs.

    Okay, after some playing on Anphillia, I can now give an opinion.

    [rant]The PvP system of that server sucks. I played a Neutral Evil character, disguised as a Good one but were to sell the key to the city gate to the Drow the next time they attacked.

    However me, and a friend who was a Paladin :evil: , was talking in the main town. After a while, a annoying Halfling came and started to insult me and my friend. When I told her to back off, she cast Bidgy's Something Hand, the one who sticks you to the ground, so my Paladin swinged one hit at her and I told her to get away as soon as possible or I would kill her. When I do that, she stays, continouing to insult me and my friend. We got p/o-ed and killed her. After that, a DM comes and takes a level of ME and the PALADIN, but she, who started the fight, goes off without punishment. Sure, the PvP is restricted, I understand that, but we RPed it to the greatest extent you could demand. The DM couldn't even give any reasons for it, but told us to go to the forum, which frankly, didn't explain anything. He told us that if we had any problem with other players, which we didn't OoC, only IC, as we RPed it, we should take it up with the DMs OoC. What The ****? Stupid or what? The worst thing is that I have spent over 30 hours, developing my character, both statistically and characterally(is that even a word?). To get a level, you will have to kill at least 150-300 enemies, and even though I don't care too much about statistics, I got p/o-ed since he erased one and a half level, putting me at the very base of level 7.[/rant]
