If bg2 can be beaten in a day I think IWD2 can. As long as you can get to the good items quickly it shouldn't be a problem.

I AM 5 DAY LOOK AT THIS CONFRONTATION!!!

And can't no post a message.
(I'm reply first and reply last)
to Ameorn: You start from begining (new party, and how many), and what level of difficulty ( very easy???) ??????
to dshadow: Theoreticaly that game can be beaten in one day (especialy if playing before many times), practicaly .... i don't check...and one more... do you play in EOB??? (for example EOB2.. first time playing i spend 6 (SIX!!!) month for that game (it's was my first rpg (crpg)) for 10th time playing i spend some days (3-4 hours of playing)...
conclude: it is no IMPOSSIBLE things there are..
(or some what in this style.....:))

Yea, i havent finished yet too much school, but i think it can be done because if you have played it many times then you know where everythiing is and dont have to take time looking for it. The first time i played IWDI i took 2 months and only got half way through it then i created a new party and used a walkthrough and figured out where everything was. I then restarted with an even better party after i beat it and finished it in 3days flat with about 4-6 hours each day.

Maybe I'll try the "finish it one day" idea when I get some free time but I'm not even that sure I want to spend an entire day just sitting there playing a game. Doesn't it get a bit boring after you've been sat there for 10 hours solid?

Ameorn: if you're still checking the replies to this topic, I have a question: Did you just completely skip most of the sidequests? I know you could cut out a great deal of time by dropping the unnecessary sidequests...though the EXP from them sure helps in tuning up for the game's end.
