Dead cats and bodies

My party is currently inside Dragon's Eye and they carry 3 dead cats and 2 bodies in the Bag of Holding. Can anyone tell my if these become usefull in the rest of the game or if i can dump them without consequence?

 

Man!! Why didn't I think of that!! The reason why I never carried them bodies along with me was because they were so darn heavy!!!

Well, there's a use for them... that is if you did not kill ... err... someone... err... what was his name again? Yquog? In the Goblin Warrens Level 1 (Horde Fortress), he'll appear again later in the game and you can use them bodies to intimidate him and cause him to flee.

 

If you mean the red demon-type of guy that had the bracers of the goblin in the other level, I killed him...

 

I threw bodies (from Ice Temple) and dead cats away in Black raven monastery and I haven't found any use for them after that (now leaving underdark)

 

I kept the corpses for my dark side. At least the female ones... no I didn't. But I did have them forever. Also, I had the rocks from Chapter 2 that you dump on the enemies until the end. I only realized what they did the second time around.

 

even the walktrough doesnt know it....but there something special about the bodies.....or some dialouge options maybe....i believe

 

Rocks? What rocks? What do they do?

 

just before the ice temple, you pulled some lever, drop some rocks to break the ice on the other side to reveal the Aurilite Holy Symbol. when you take the holy symbol, you can open all the doors in this area and the constructs will attack the symbol holder. the rocks mentioned above is that rocks.

 

Wow, the game is so low on quests that everybody try to find all of them at the first time

Seems that tal finally got tot give the idiot of the week award to someone!
Anyway the dead cats you can take to a guy in the docks of targos and if you use a druid/ranger and say the right things then he'll give you gold and some XP(NOTE:Only druids and rangers can do this and ONLy with the right secuense of quotes)

All through the game you can find dead cats, men, and women. Do not waste your time carrying their bodies around. The only quest that makes use of these bodies is in the Severed Hand, and once you get to the Severed hand you can actually find the bodies of a cat, man, and a woman (which is what you need to get the most XP from the quest).

In the bottom level of the Clerics tower you meet Yquog (if you did not kill him earlier) again. He will act like he wants to fight you, but if you have any corpses you can "show" them off to him. Depending on the number of corpses you have (they can be in your bag of holding) you will get a variety of dialogue options (see below). If you have all the corpses you will cause him to flee in terror, if you only have a 1 or 2 corpses then you can "influence" him to leave you alone.

Yeah, I also was toying with the idea of using them to kill the crystal golem. I took the rocks back up and re-armed the 2 catapults. But the crystal golem dies so quickly with blunt weapons, it's a waste of time.

 

Padeen, who is the guy in the docks? Can you find out the name for me?
