i recently found out about the whole arcane decanter/bonus merchant thingie.. but my party is past the part of the plot where that nym guy goes away...

i looked in dale keeper 2 beta 5 and i couldnt find the arcane decanter... what exactly am i missing out on? a walkthrough seemed to indicate mainly some +5bracers which at that point in the game would be a lot better than anything else you can get...even better than what u get from battlesquare...

is there a newer dale keeper or is the arcane decanter able to be cheated into my inventory some other way?

You can always create the item through the cheat console (item code 50GENID, or 50GENAD - not sure what the difference is, but one of them may be for HoF mode). You cannot get the Avarine Decanter more than once and expect extra items, because after the first time, the genie attacks you.

If memory serves - it's always better to free him immediately than to shop, because you get better stuff...right? Some nice bracers, a fancy ring and a pricy gem I think...

you can get it once in hof and once in normal? i'll have to try cheating it in... using the cheat console wont label my game as "cheating" or anything like that?... i dont really want to cheat the items probably wont make a difference so much considering i finished the full battlesquare without cheating and have all those items i just... dont want to "miss" part of the game whats the cheat console command to add an item?

    ctrlaltdelete:createitem("50genad")

(might be two colons ::, as C++ coding - not sure)
