[IMG] So yeah, here I am. I beat the game and I did rather poorly if I must say so myself. Now, I decided to replay the game, but figured it'd be fun to use the same characters I was just playing. I exported them at level 15 average. The drow is at 13 or 14 I think. Anyway, I loaded them up and started to play and I noticed that no one was gaining any experience. I got to chapter 1 and cleared out the bridge in a massacre, but still I don't get any experience for killing any monsters at al. only a little for completing quests. Is this supposed to happen? How am I supposed to train them to level 30?

it's cuz all the weak enenmies u kill at high levels(like 15) aint worth much and sometimes aint worth any XP, you gotta kill stronger enemies to get higher levels, but cuz all of ur caracter's on such a high level u dont get any XP for these kind of monsters...

Third edition rules work in such a way that enemies are only worth experience when they pose a challenge. If you go take out an entire goblin nation at level 15 and expect to learn anything from it, other than how many goblins you can kill in a day, you've got another thing coming. It forces you to take risks, and is more indicative of real life. There's no way you're going to learn something new from tying your own shoes (possibly), but it's pretty monumental for a 4 year old.

And as to getting to level 30, I think HoF mode was meant for that.

Yeah, you should really play HoF if you want to get use of your high level characters.
Just choose it from the configuration program, run the game and import your characters.

If you want to just replay through normal then there are a couple of edited experience tabls (there on SP, well links are) which will give you experience even for those that wouldn't in normal.
