I know this is probably a stupid question. I have for the most part cleared out the Ice Castle. I have yet to fight Oria and can not open her study by using the dais (SW then NW). It's simply not working, I have freed the abishi and turned off the anti magic. I don't understand what I am overlooking. I also can't get into the room that says it has the tree limb encased in the lock or the door south of the neverwinter troops that are behind the glass. Also is there a way to free them without them attacking? Any help would be appreciated.

i dunno f theres a way to free them w/o attacking... nyway, juz use inner sanctum mode while fighting them... have u finished the battle arena, when u do, ull get a key u can use to enter oria's room... u can enter the room with branches after uve cleared the level, climb the stairs to the right and talk to the painting... when it speaks, choose "Lysan" and it'll take u there, the Shadow Room... pick the one with "In Auril's...." first to go to the treasury room...

No, there is no way to free them without being attacked. If you ask Nickademus about this, he will explain why.

The room south of the mirror chamber is opened by firing the lightning gun out the south door with the doors along the way open.

Oria's room is opened by winning one round of the battle square. The key is part of the treasure. You only have to fight the one 'game' if you want. The remaining 49 matches are optional, but have nice treasures if you survive. :)

The tree limb door is the one that opens into a room immediately to the right off the altar chamber? If so, you should have a new command phrase for the stairs after defeating the altar. Use it to get into the room.
