Sorry to blight this board with questions. I have just got IWD2, and am wondering where I can find custom scripts or a script compiler. The ai for spellcasters in general seems very poor, and my multiclassed characters just behave plain/daft (e.g. bard/sorc)

P.S. no spoilers please (I know that bard/sor may not be optimal :) )

[IMG] I am wondering the same thing. I'm playing the game again, just started, and one of my favourite things from previous games was creating my own scipts. It makes my characters just that much more.... MINE. I have a greater affinity for them then, and it makes me enjoy the game more.

Last time I checked there was no Script Compiler released, which was years ago.

Does anyone know if they have released a Script Compiler yet?

One of the patches available in the cheats/mods section on this site lists a patch that overwrites the scripts with the exact same scripts except that they have the BestWeapon() removed, which is an annoying function at best. It was uploaded by "Link" I believe. Does anyone know what s/he used to edit the scripts?

If there is another way to simply edit the scripts, I can do that and just make mine from scratch by overwriting the others. I haven't done any modding at all, and don't have any tools whatsoever in regards to the infinity engine, so if there is a way of editing them, please give me links to where I should look!

    Thanks in Advance.

Aside from the one set mentioned that is on SP, there are no custom scripts that I know of. No script compiler either. And considering Interplay and BIS are both dead, there never will be one. But we have them for other games, so one might work for IWD2 as well.
