Cleric and Paladin Quests – Looking for Spoilers.

    I keep hearing about the Paladin and Painbearer of Ilmater get attribute bonuses, but I can’t find specifics.

    I think I hear the Cleric gets a 2 wisdom bonus? Well, I know the Paladin quest to get his sword, but I do not remembering getting any attribute bonuses, and I know of the Alter in the same place, Hrothgar’s glen, where you can get some experience points. But again I don’t remember any attribute point bonuses.

    Am I wrong in thinking that there are attribute bonuses for these two quests? Or are they something else? Or is it I wasn’t high enough level to get the attribute bonuses?

    Any help would be appreciated. :)

    I thought only the Ilmater cleric got the bonus for cleansing the altar, not the Ilmater Paladin.

    Yea, the Cleric of Ilmater gets an experience points bonus for cleansing the alter, not the Paladin. Bt, is their a attribute bonus? All I got was a experience point bonus, but he’s multi-classed, so I’m thinking maybe I didn’t get the full benefit. So I was wondering what it was. Do you know?

    The Paladin quest for his sword, which includes all Paladins, concludes in this Glen, also. But I heard someone say he got a charisma bonus or something? I don’t ever remember getting that, so I was wondering if anyone knew if it was true?

    Both the Paladin and Painbearer of Ilmater can clense that statue and get a little quest XP. There is no attribute bonus in that case.

    When a Paladin competes the quest for the Cera Sumat sword, he also gets +1 Strength and +1 Wisdom attributes.

    Dreadmasters of Bane get a +2 Wisdom bonus after they have killed Heporus(?) the Banite who welcomes you at the begining of Chapter 5. After you have killed all the ogres, shadows and their leader your Dreadmaster should click on the hand symbol (or open the chest beside it, I'm not sure which) and he will receive his +2Wis bonus.

    IIRC he gets +1 to Strength and Constitution, not Wisdom.

    When you complete the second rank of the battle squares (ch. 2), you get the "Potion of Holy Transference", which gives you permanent +2 Wisdom and -1 Dexterity...
    Sounds like booze for your cleric, don't you think...?
