I always imagined Drizzt somewhat more intelligent than that... :D

Yeah, and Catti-Brie as someone more beautiful, but IMO Drizzt's group is totally sucker in IWD 2 with no mages and 4 fighters.

I think you'll get some spell power from a level 19 Diviner.......

Also the level 11 Bard helps some.

Chraisma isn't an exact measure of how pretty your character is. Being chraismatic and being beautiful are 2 different things.

I think I would rather make my own party than make "that". It sort of means a lot more...

I think I would sacrifice some of Drizzt's strength for more intelligence.

Also I would put in Harkle Harpell for a mage if need be.

Err.. I don't know if you just made things up for Party-Balancing's sake; but IIRC:

Drizzt has Fighter levels, and has waaay different stats. Bruenor was never a Cleric? Cattie-Brie wasn't a diviner la la la etc etc

And somehow, I don't think that party of essentially Brain-Dead zombies would make it thru Icewind Dale. Regis needs WAY more charisma as a bard; as does Drizzt for his Animal Empathy (which he should be good at according to the books). And you spelled Do'Urden wrong.

Incase you really wanted to know, here are his real stats:

    Drizzt Do'Urden
    Male Drow Ftr10/Bbn1/Rgr5 of Mielikki
    Hp: 124
    AC: 23

    STR: 13
    DEX: 20
    CON: 15
    INT: 17
    WIS: 17
    CHA: 14

    Attack Bonus: +17/+12/+7 (Ftr/Bbn/Rgr)
Favoured Enemy: Goblins x2, Magical Beasts x 1
    Skills:
    Animal Empathy: +9
    Hide: +13
    Knowledge(Nature): +5
    Listen: +20
    Move Silently: +15
    Search: +13
    Spot: +15
    Wilderness Lore: +8

    Feats:
    Ambidexterity
    Blind-Fight
    Combat Reflexes
    Dodge
    Improved Initiative
    Improved Two Weapon Fighting
    Mobility
    Track
    Quick Draw
    Twin Sword Style
    Two Weapon Fighting
    Weapon Focus (Scimitar)
    Weapon Specialization (Scimitar)

    Extra's
Barbarian Rage, Drow Traits and Spell-like abilities, Suffers from Light.

    ---------
Those, Dragu&Barud are his proper stats, made easier to suit IWDII. These were taken from the latest edition of the Dungeons & Dragons Campaign Setting: Forgotten Realms (page 177), and so are precicely correct.

Read the books next time

[IMG] Why do you care so much about the INT?I really can`t see why, well the only thing that I see is
    the Expertise feat...What else?And I can`t really
see how are you gonna beat HOF with..hmm 13 STR.
Welldone. And Bruenor was made cleric because you
can wake up in a new era without one,mr.Accurate-3rd-Edition.!!!

[IMG] Dragu&Barud, you need Intelligence, because frankly you're not gonna complete IWD2 without it. Intelligence allows you to gain more Skill points, for skills such as Hide, Parry and important stuff. It allows you to gain better feats, too. For example, Drizzt wouldn't get Weapon Finesse, Improved Initiative, or possibly not even Imp'd Two Weapon Fighting (which, i believe is nessecary for Drizzt!).
Int allows you to have more responses in conversation, allowing you to get more rewards and XP.

I am not being incredibly "3rd Edition Accurate" by saying you need INT and CHA, just being smart. Regis for example would make a useless bard with CHA 15 and INT 3. Seriously!

Wisdom also affects your WILL saving throws by the way, so half your party will be put to Sleep before you even reach the Fort.
Why not? It's perfectly achievable with say the Weapon Finesse feat and a high Dex score (which Drizzt has). Not much difference.
Please repeat that? "Because i can wake up in a new era without one." That makes no sense whatsoever. :toofar:

(And besides, i was only giving you Drizzt's real stats incase you wanted it as reference.)

Didn't Drizzt have 6 Ranger levels? And is Wulfgar a Fighter or a Barbarian?

As I recall, he was a Barbarian. But it's best not to drag this topic out any more than necessary.

I haven't read the FR campaign. Do they have the rest of Drizzt's party in it, or just him?

BTW, as I recall, Bruenor was a cleric for a brief time in one of the books, I think it was in the Legacy of the Drow books. But it was for a very brief time.

[IMG] No, only Drizzt's stat (and Guenwhyvar's). It's from the newest edition so I guess these are correct. :)

Well, to each his own. I don't have hard numbers but I suspect many powergamers don't play pen and paper RPGs. For my part, I've never given any of my characters stats below 10 in any of the desktop games I've played.

Well Charlie, one can still powerplay in PnP, without playing a character with charisma equal to a glass of rotten milk. First of all it depends on how you build your characters, pointbuy or through rolling. The intentional min/maxing can happen solely in pointbuy.

That's why I always roll. But even then you can powerplay. And without playing a character as smart as a brick. :)

[IMG] I stand corrected. But I'm pleased to know that some people feel the same way I do about character generation.
