I can't seem to get the Ante-Chamber to open.
I turn the mirror west, aim the prism north and nothing happens. The bolt just goes around the corner and the door doesn't open. I don't know what else to do.
    Thanks for helping before!!

First off, welcome to the boards, Sirensong! To answer your question, you have to make sure that the rectangular mirror in the hall right before you hit the prism is tilted in the right direction. If it's not, then, the lightening bolt will just keep going around and around until it dissapates or one of your party members gets hit by it.

    Ok,

I've got the mirror in the right position and it does hit the secret door but it's not unlocking it and when I go to Nickademus he says he's not ready to collect his favor so there has to be something I'm missing and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.
    Thanks.

I'm not sure I know which door you're talking about, but if I'm right, that door doesn't open with lightning bolts; you have to open it from the other side.

To get to the other side, you need to say the right phrase to the magic painting on the floor above and then walk down the stairs.
