Trying something different. I usually just go with single classes.
Right now I'm thinking of this group:
Human Rouge/Ranger/Fighter(not sure of the levels, dual wielding Bastard swords)
Shield Dwarf Rouge/Barbarian 2/X (wielding great axes)
Shield Dwarf Battlegaurd (dual wielding axes)
    Human Dreadmaster (maybe two-handed swords)
    ?
    ?
I was thinking maybe a Tielfing wizard.
    Any thoughts?

Well So far so good. However one question though how does the Dwarf Battleguard and the Dreadmaster get along without killing each other?

as for Character Ideas how about:

a Drow Monk(dark moon)/Sorcerer (since the animation for unarmed attack sucks give him a quarterstaff)

a Aasimar Fighter/Bard with some nice trowing weapons

    a Wild Elf Specialist mage(your choice)/Ranger

a Human (with "snakeblood" feat) Druid/Fighter
(Make him Green with black or yellow hair)

For the rogue/barbarian, I would suggest instead a rogue/fighter... no XP penalties.

MrNexx: Thanks. I completely overlooked the XP penalty.
theGodless:some interesting choices. Thanks. The original party was an evil one, with regards to the clerics.
Belgarath: Why are humans any different?

So now I'm thinking of this party(good party):
    Human Rouge/Fighter 2/X(wielding 2-handed sword/hammer as secondary)
Shield Dwarf Battleguard (axes, maybe dual wield/ mace as seondary)
Human Morninglord (Bastard swords/mace or flail as secondary)
Human Figther/Druid(is it worth it to go for the 4 levels as fighter?)(Polearm as weapon)
And I'll probably use the Aasimar Bard/fighter (level 11/X) and Wild elf Specialist mage(needs evocation, enchantment and necromancy)/ranger( how many levels would be good?)
Not sure about weapons for the last two.

It's not worth it taking 4 fighter-lvls for your druid. At least not until he has reached about lvl 20. Just take one lvl fighter, barbarian or ranger early to be able to use all weapons without penalties or just stick to polearms.
Try keeping your mage at least almost pure until he has lvl-9-spells and if you plan on multiclassing him you should go with the moon-elf or let hem be a sorc instead to avoid XP penalties.
The Aasimar Bard/fighter will get XP penalties if you don't keep the bard- and fighterlvls close to each other.
Otherwise I think your party should be good

I agree with Mudde, no fighter levels on druid. Start as barbarian for extra HPs, weapon choices, and rage. People forget how difficult the beggining of the game is. Goblins kicking your butt, since you will have only limited spells available and their duration is short. Lowe level druid spells don't help that much, go with weapons early. I would suggest limiting Str to 14, you will get magic to suppliment it later and when you reach 5th level druid, use the shape change in melee for better damage possiblities and leave the better weapons to the other frontline fighters.
Also, plain human makes more sense for bard/fighter. Yeah, asimar have bonuses, but take the bonus feat and no XP penalties with human.

It may be an idea to hammer the Druid's Str, Con and Dex and put the points in int wis and cha. This way he is an excellent mage type and can act as the diplomat and odd skill man in human form, and still be a terrible force when morphed into bear form (The wildshape forms replacce your Str Dex and Con, so they can be nailed)

Essentially youll end up with a guy who can melee in wildshape (prolly better than your main tank in midgame) and be a good caster as well.

You can also multiclass him to wizard or sorc so he has even more casting power in human form after he gets his Dire Bear wildshape.

Also, Champions strength stacks on the bear, so you can actually get as much as 38 str in wildshape, even if your initial str stat is 1.

You can also give the druid a monk level so the wildshape benefits form the wis bonus to ac.
