Problem with Garren Windspear

    [​IMG] When I enter Garren's hut for the first time and talk to him, he says:

    "This matter has weighed heavily upon me, I fear. Thank you for your efforts in all things".

    This doesn't sound right to me. Is this a bug or something?

    If I remember right, I believe that is what he kept saying to me after I completed the whole Windspear Hills quest. At the time(and I still do) I was thinking that wasn't very thankfull considering what I did for him. I was expecting something more out of him. But anyway, it's been a while, but it sounds like a bug unless the first time you went into his hut was after you * spoiler *

    went and (please note-quest spoiler coming) rescued his daughter from Firkragg. Otherwise, it looks like a bug because if I remember correctly(lost all my game notes-AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!), when you first enter the cabin, he lets you rest there while he goes to the Order of the Radiant Heart to plead with them to not come after you for killing those Plaidans when you first entered Windspear. After that, you get the whole quest to rescue his daughter, you do it, and all he says (I believe) was what you just quoated. So it sounds like a bug. I don't know if you can still do the Firkragg dungeon without the inital scenario being acted out in the cabin. If not, you should probably reload your game and hope that your problem doesn't show up again. Hope that helps.

    Hmmm. So I guess it's a bug. The other strange is that when I killed him (because I was pissed off at the bug) his daughter started talking as if he left, and then some bandits arrived and took her away.
    I'll have to reload an old save then. Thanx

    [​IMG] Whoa, don't. The bandits are supposed to take her away. That thing starts the whole Windspear Hills quest that leads you to Firkraag.
    You could play the whole thing out now, and I suppose only miss the quest reward you would get for saving his daughter.

    Did he actually give you anything for saving his daughter, such as experience, or did she give you the experience reward once you got back to the cabin after saving her. Again, refresh my memory Tal because I've lost all my friggin' game notes. That just really ticks me off because I have no idea whatsoever how I lost them. The used to just sit here by my computer, now I can't find them anywhere.
