    [IMG] Hey all,

I've been trying to find soundsets/pictures for all the BG2 characters. So far, I've been able to find all of what I want except for a working Soundset for Aerie.

I have found Aerie soundsets for other Infinity Engine games, but it seems that they changed the soundset format, so I can't find one that works.

Can anyone help me out here?

Uhm, this feels strange and is absolutely irrelevant for the post. I have this link in copy paste from another thread. Talk about coincidence.

Have you tried the NPC sound pack?
Else PM me and I can email the Aerie sound files.

Sound files, BG2; Scroll down to NPC sounds.

EDIT; I have succesfully made a folder with Aerie sounds from that download above in the IWD sound folder. Just remember to use the XXXXX10.wav format. Five letters and a number code which tells you what sound to put with what action. XXXXX01.wav is forexample morale failure. But it is all in a notepad document in the sound folder how to modify and make your own sounds. Quite convinient.

Important: You can't listen to the wav files with a normal QuickTime viewer but they still work in the game!

I just copypasted this aeri_01.wav into the rename box of each file and changed the number of every file to what I liked. Since there are less aerie sound files than commands in IWD2 I ahd to make some duplicate sounds. I use same sound file for Aeri_01 as Aeri_02 forexample.

Still if everything somehow doesn't work out, I can email the finished product to you. And now is the time I should go check the IWD2 game section here on SP to see if anyone has done the same as me already... Doh.. :shake:

Yes, Yes I did, but the format is wrong.

There are nowhere near enough files, and all the names are wrong. It seems they changed the format since BG2.

Remember that your version of Quick time might have troubles playing aeries sound set, But they still work in the game! And right now I am playing with a druid, who uses Aerie's sound set. So just relax, it works in the end :)

And just for the record, there are aditional sound sets here if you haven't seen it.

Guys, I have been very busy over the past months but I will be on holidays soon. I have an Aerie soundset that I use but I have not yet sent it to Tal, so hang in there and I'll get onto it. You need to edit the sounds from not just the regular interactions sounds but also the conversations and it takes time.

Anyway as I said I'll get onto it and I have a few others in preparation like Branwen (so perfect for IWD2) and Ellesime.
