How Do I Beat the Dragon?

    i need help on how to defeat the dragon in chult. i dont have a sorcerer or wizard in my party. :p

    [​IMG] There are numerous ways and there is already a post on this topic but here is my solution: I had a mage memorize disintegrate twice and had him cast it while the rest of my party got the snot beat out of them. After three reloads and my sixth disintegrate spell the dragon failed his saving throw and vanished. Hope that helps.

    it's simple. you must cast spell lower resistance to the dragon & you must have a full spells on you and summon elementals and have a mordakeinen force missles. this spell isd very good to the dragon

    Well he can't do either of those. He doesn't have a mage or sorcerer. I don't know what to suggest. I would never have a party without spellcasters. By the way, what is your party?
    And also if you disentegrate something aren't the items that it carried lost? I haven't gotten to the dragon yet but its got to have some good items. In BGII, Firkrag had the Carsomyr on him. Thats one reason why the disentegrate isn't so good in my opinion, but I'm not sure if it kills their items in IWDII.

    my party is paladin, fighter, barbarian, ranger, cleric and a rogue. thanks for the tips but i finally got rid of that dragon. ;) thanks guys!

    For me the only key requirement for that battle is a cleric. Remove Fear and Heal.

    The Dragon can attack only one member at a time except for its moderate poison. Have the cleric heal when the health drops to red. With a bit of luck in timing the heal and attack rolls, you can last a long while to hack the creature with the rest of the parties. I never depleted all of my heals (4 in total then) in that battle.

    Two or more "Remove fear"s are important. Not for the victory but for the award. My panic members at the death of the guardian do not receive the 12 hp and 5 acid bonus.
