Anybody uses cheats for IWD 2 ?

Ya, just wanted to know if you're using cause I don't know what to do. Playing normally is quite hard

 

I didn't need any cheats playing through normaly. allthough when I got to the bridge where u have to defend it after loseing it countless times I decided to cheat a little this is in HOF mode of course. I know you can still win by letting the brige fall but i wanted the extra xp. i found a nice site looking for cheats the cheat key that gives xp dosen't work though.

No, I didn't use cheats. But I guess you're in the first chapter now. That's quite hard, that's true. The most part of the rest is going to be very easy. Acutally, now I find the first chapter to be very easy to. The first chapter is just very well made DM-Art. Nice, ugly traps and encounters. But when you figure out how to deal with them, i.e. develop the appropriate (sp ?) tactics. Piece of cake.

Don't use cheats. They take the fun out of a game. And the challenge.

 

I have never used cheats on this game just went by the walkthroughs, which some consider cheating. But unfortunatly things change and now has come the time that i must cheat, er... need, er... want to cheat for the betterment of my sorceress. Im at the duergar stronghold before the underdark and need to get the Doom Bolter but no one in my party has a high enough intelligence. So can anyone one pm me the cheat code to a potion of intelligence? Sorry for the off topic post Sergiu.

Sergiu, there's several ways of doing it. There's a really powerful sword you can give yourself. It's a "quality assurance" weapon; one that is superpowerful, and it made to test "path critical" game functions. That is, the QA guys don't want to have to worry about slogging away with spells and +2 weapons; they want to drill down anyone in there way, and check to see if all the dialogues and triggers function properly.

You can also use Dalekeeper to give all your people maximum stats and spells.

I used both.

I like the gameplay. I don't really like the story, but the gameplay is good.

 

i dont cheat, but when i get to places that i need extra stuff or something i cheat if i am getting frustrated
