[IMG] Has anyone had a character die and not be able to resurrect them? I have a wizard who died and was energy drained - when I try to bring him back he simply dies again. Help! :(

bizarre; never had that experience. only time i've really lost a character is when they get dealt a s***load of damage, and fly to pieces.

maybe he is petrified, use stone to flesh spell and then use resurection or raise death.

[IMG] If your character is resurected and he died with low hit points then had an energy drain he's DEAD.
Cause you bring him back to where he died(low hit points and then the energy drain hits him and it kills him off.I had this happen.Had to go back to my last save and made sure he was at a high enough hit point so when he got hit with a drain it didnt finish him off.

Have you tried resurrecting then using the restoration spell on him? Or do you not have time to cast another spell before he drops dead?
Also, have you tried going to a temple? If you go to a temple to resurrect someone you don't have to be in the same area as that character died.

That means the energy drain is still functioning even after the guy died! That's definitely a bug, and you should report it on the Interplay IWD2 Troubleshooting forum.

In the meantime, how about resting the whole party while he's still dead, then trying to resurrect him? (perhaps the spell will wear off)

Also you surely know that there are 2 resurrection spells, one called "Raise Dead" (lvl 5) which only resurrects ,and one called "Resurrection" (lvl 7) which resurrects, and fully heals (and which is the only one that works for elves). Oh, is he an elf?
