I would just love to scan my Collector's Edition manual over to .pdf for you. Why, heck, I've even gone to the trouble of putting in the console cheats on the inner cover.

Did you want it .zipped down, or .aced?

And this *points above* is exactly why I suggested it be put up on download. Hell, I'll host it if it's needed. Fact is, nobody has proven to have the .PDF just yet, so sit back, and wait. When or If it is out, you'll likely read all about it on this board, and be able to download it from somewhere, be it Sorcerer's Place, or my server. Everyone asking for a copy will not bring it to you any quicker. (if it exists at all)

 

This is very, very disturbing.

Now, if everyone has warez copies of this game, I could understand why you don't have the manual. But if you're buying the regular game (non CE), and you don't have some regular glue-bound manual, then I actually would consider manking a .pdf of the manual.

It seems that some people are downright greedy. Two people have one post. Here, asking for a cop of the manual. Sure, when I first signed up, I was just going to ask something, get an answer, and just leave, but something compelled me to stay, and share my vast knowledge of the cosmos.

 

Heh, I admit, I don't have a legal copy of the game. However, I feel no guilt in playing it right now, seeing how I'd rather play than wait till whenever they are going to release this game in Europe. They take ridiculously long to ship it to Europe for whatever kind off BS reason. Translating it? I get all my games in the US version.

I will buy the game as soon as it is released, though. Would it arrive earlier if I had it shipped in by Chips and Bits? (doubt it, but it's worth a shot)

 

Checked out chips&bits, but seeing how it would cost me an extra $28, I think I'll wait it out. $67,95 is too much in my book for getting this game legal earlier.

Guess I'll buy it in local stores.

I'm seriously considering going illegal on this game because of the incredibly screwed up release problems here in Europe.
The very high price (SEK 499 = ~US$54) certainly doesn't seem motivated either.

 

I believe that there is no such manual - and it makes sense (what with all the piracy that is going on) that they didn't put a pdf manual on the CD. It will make it difficult for anyone without 3E knowledge to start the game with a clue to what they are doing. Especially with the various feats and skills to complicate matters.

Just a thought - maybe BIS should release demos, then people might be inclined to try before they buy rather than get hold of an illegal copy
