IIRC all skill points when leveling up are accumulable. So if you did not invest when leveling up, the point will be there and still be usuable when you hit the next level.

    Try doing that.

You are only allowed to retain 1 skill point for use at your next level-up.
If Vassago was using a 20 Int char he would had had 36 points at L1 and 12 at L2 rouge. After spending his points on the 6 rouge skills he would still have enough for 3 cross class skills, ie 6 points.
You cant store up on 6 or 4 skill points.

IIRC, Improved Initiative doesn't work properly, so that gets my vote. If it did work, it'd be a top choice for just about any class.

In NwN you can store all your skill points at each level up and assign them at whatever level&class you wish. Considering that it might not be real cheating reasigning them as you want them to be.

But then if you look at it realisticaly, there's no way a character would "store" his skill points when advancing up his rogue career to suddenly become a master mage when he takes his first level of mage class after 10 levels of rogue. It's just not logical.
But, hey, it's your character and i say relocate his skill points if it makes you feel it's closer to what that character concept is.

I don't get all this fretting about cheating. It's your game, do what you want.

Does anyone have any experience with the Improved Initiative Fix? I downloaded it and would like to put it in for my next playthrough (I always do the first go around totally unmodded). Damn shame the feat is broken, from what my 3E playing friends tell me it's very cool.
