quivers, bolt cases?

Are there no quivers for arrows, bolt cases for bolts in the game? my inventory is choked with the missiles, leaving little room for stuff, and if i dump them, i will have no range firepower. Help.
or maybe there are codes to enable them?

 

short of putting them into your bag of holding, there is little that you can do. I havent encountered any thing like that yet. I think that the bag of holding doesnt go on amount of objects stacked, but on the amount of images next to it. Am i making sense?

why don't you just sell them away? there are plenty of arrows and bolts to be found along the way. a person's inventory full of arrows and bolts is enough to get you to the next available merchant. you'll have plenty of money so don't worry that much about buying expensive arrows and bolts.

There's a very helpful patch that allows you to make arrow/bolt/bullet/gem stacks of any number you want. i.e. 400 arrows will just take one inventory slot, and just one slot in your bag of holding.

I found during my game that there was plenty of arrows for one archer and bolts for one x-bower but not for two in the same party. I had my cleric and wizard both using x-bows, the Doom Bolter and the Hell Bolter and I chewed through the ammo faster than I could replenish it, even with buying most I saw. I had to change my mage to a slinger near the end due to lack of bolts.

 

Hmm... about storing them in the bag of holding, the last time I did it, everytime I took out an arrow/bolt, I only took out ONE at a time. Am I missing out on how to bring the whole lot out without cliking through 40 times???

 

@Dreamagi...Just double click on the arrows you want to take out and a seperate window will pop up. From there you can change the number to any amount you want. This works for other bags and cases as well.

I rarely use missle weapons and I only keep +1-5 types of ammo, (nothing else i.e darts of stunning etc.) but those still seem to clutter up the inventory anyway. So, use that patch that Quint is refering to. It works wonders.

 

first i wouldn't suggest everyone in the party using the same kind of weapon as this will create conflict for weapon choice. also, bullets do bludgeoning damage and bolts do piercing damage. it is always helpful and beneficial if you can do different kinds of damage. besides, cleric can use shield and sling, why waste the talent?

about dumping more arrows in a time from the bag of holding, just double click the arrow and you can choose how many you want to take at a time.

Personally, I used the console to put 9000 +5 bullets into a stack. Um. And some +1 Fire bullets for those trolls.
