I killed all the monks in the Monastary so that I could finish the last quest at the outpost/I went back to the outpost and got the items and exp for completing the quest and the proceeded to kill all the slavers at the outpost. When i went back to the mall to continue the game and begin the tests. I could not do anything because the monk at that level attacked me and I had to take him out too. So what now? How can I proceed without having to go backto a prior save??Anyone have an answer?

If you killed all the monks in the monastery you won't be able to do the chambers (a.k.a 'the tests'). Since you killed the monks, completing the chambers is not necessary to continue the game. You can still go on without a reload unless your heart is set on doing the chambers. Just take the set of stairs (on the same level as the last monk you killed) down to the next level.

Edit here: I forgot that you may need a key to go on. Look around on the upper levels of the monastery for the key. It would have been on the body of one of the monks you killed.

Yeah there is. It's called the Raven Key. Thanks to the Bartholomew team's online walkthrough for that. I edited my last post to add that bit of info. So take a look above.

This is just another reply on my part to jack up my post count. :D

Why did you killed the monks BEFORE taking the chambers?

In the river caves you can take a quest from the Duegar to kill all the monks. So when you enter the monastary and start a conversation you can take a dialogue option that sais: I'm here to kill all the monks. Now you are attacked and you must kill all the monks. You get some items and XP for this quest and you can still get to the underdark

Ahhh, a missed quest there then....

My party took offence to the slavers, and thought for a moment about what should be done with such vermin. Then my sorcerer told the rest to take a step back for her to demonstrate her newly acquired "sunfire" spell.

Very effective we all agreed as we picked up the treasure from the floor. Oh yes, very effective at vermin extermination indeed. She's now regularly approached by Rento-kill for a full time job, but we're hoping she'll stick with the party till the end.

[IMG] Roekemoes, I know about the quest. I meant, why kill them BEFORE chambers.
My evil party get the quests in monastery. Take chambers, THEN kill monks. Tell Duergar we killed monks, then kill Duergars too. :D

Well that's pretty easy to answer. I killed them before doing the chambers because I couldn't complete the chambers. That was my 1st time through. I didn't have a character in my group that could get through all the chambers. I needed the key, so I reloaded from a previous save and killed em off. Yeah I know I could have cheated my way by, but I never cheat my 1st time through a game.

Of course my 2nd time, I did it the same way you mentioned above ANAKHA, including looting the tomb for nothing very special IIRC.

Thorongil thank you. Because you are the first that write my nick correctly. I had started to think that it is too complex. :D
BTW, what does "IIRC" mean? I think I should know it but I don't. :o
